On a 1997 model.

1. Park on a level surface as you'll need to put the van into the 1st in order to remove the plastic panel.

2. Pull off the dashboard panel that covers the center dash (radio, heater, etc.). It should extend all the way to the left side of the dash, going over the steering wheel. You'll need to unhook all the wires connected to the panel. (Rear wiper control, rear hatch release, headlights, foglights)

3. The radio should be exposed. There are 2 metal tabs on either side of the radio that you will need to unhook in order to remove the radio. You should be able to get these to release with a flat headed screwdriver.

4. Slide the radio out until you can reach the wires connected to the back of it. Pull the clips to release the wires and the radio should slide all the way out.

If you are planning on putting a non-stock radio in it, you will need to buy a wiring harness (available at wal-mart) and a radio adapter (also available at wal-mart). You will also need a faceplate. I would recommend buying that from a specialty store as wal-marts faceplate kits dont typically fit well.

I have experienced this problem. On the underside of the car, on both sides, running from wheelwell to wheelwell is a weld. There are several holes in the weld that become plugged and do not allow water to escape. You can feel where the weld seperates with your hand. I use a short piece of a coat hanger to open the holes. Make sure that the drain plugs in the rear fenderwells are out. With the convertible water that runs down the top has no where to go. It will accumulate in the fenderwells and then seep into the vehicle if the two rubber plugs are not removed to allow the water to drain out.

disconect the battery and wait nearby until the actual time is the same as what the van clock is. be advised, this will be a life altering experiance.

Pull the blade in a direction directly up the windshield, toward the back of the van. It pops off. There may be a clip you have to loosen first. Read the directions that come with the new wiper blades, or ask your next door neighbor to help you figure it out.

I just did this today! Firstly, it's easier if you unbolt the door at the top and bottom front hinges so that it can swing out (make sure you rest it on a milk crate or something to support the back hinge). Next you need to remove the inside handle which will slide off once you remove the locking pin holding it in place. Then pop off the inside door panel and slide it up over the lock. Peel away the plastic sheet (this can be messy if it's a warm day like today). Then you have to unbolt the three bolts holding in the entire latch/lock assembly, and unclip the plastic clip holding the lock, which will give you access to the nut holding the rear handle in place. The front nut is accessible from the front edge of the door. Undo the plastic clip holding the metal arm of the handle in place, and pull out the old handle piece.

Remove The Radiator And Have A Radiator Shop Test, And Flush It.

its located by the frame underneath the van, mid-way on the drivers side. make sure that you use penetrating fluid like wd-40 on the lines where they connect to the filter. take your time and break the nuts loose, some fuel will come out so ur gonna need some rags and a bucket. when putting on the new one make sure that you have the flow arrow facing the to the front of the vehicle.

Mine did this, replacement of distributor solved the problem. Go figure?!?

You shouldn't have to. I believe the 81 is a computer controlled ignition system. Times it self.. Unless the previous owner retro fitted points for some reason.

Well that's a load of B*llocks.

You always have to time your bike regardless of the ignition.

If you have a boyer then you simply turn the crank to full advance and then set the pickup on the boyer ignition to match. the white dot has to be seen thru the hole in the boyer plate.

its pretty much the same with the 81

There are several things that can cause your 1990 Volvo 740 to stall while driving. The most common cause is a bad fuel pump.

Look inside the driver side door jam is should tell you tire sizes. If you cannot find it, refer to your owners manual.

Check your shocks

Assuming you mean a manual transmission, since you said gear oil, there is not a dipstick on manual transmissions. Look on the side of the transmission. There will be two large nuts to drain and fill. The bottom to drain, the top to fill. You should have your fluid level with the fill plug hole. BTW, I have an 86 F-150 4x4 5.0 EFI and the NP435 4-speed manual transmission.

The 1994 Astro Van fusible ignition links can be found in the fuse box. The fuse box can be found in the engine compartment, on the drivers side.

It's time consuming and tedious. Make sure you have a nearly empty gas tank, and relieve the fuel pressure in the line. With that in mind, go to AutoZone.com and look up your vehicle in the repair guide section and you should have some good step by step directions.

it maybe out of timing or the valve seat is leacking use a compression tester to find out if is the valve leak

If you have already checked the connections on the battery I would suggest testing the alternator and the battery. If the battery will not take a charge or the alternator will not give a charge you could have similar problems.

Remove inner door cover (make sure window is up, use door cover remover tool ask any auto store for help), first remove door handle cover (it pops off) and arm rest has two screws, after cover is removed also remover water paper or plastic film cover careful not to damage need to put back on. there are two connectors for door locks and windows (unplug). now there are two bolts 10mm size that hold door handle on use wrench slightly longer in length (ratchet style works great), long needle nose pliers to remove handle rod to door latch mechanism inside door frame. need to look at first. also use shop light to put inside door for lighting. after bolts are off make sure all is disconnected now pull out broken door handle assembly. look at new handle match it up the same. then do reverse to put back together. hope this helps JT

Remove the tire and wheel from your 1998 Chevy Astro Van. Remove the brake spring and caliper. The brake pads will come off. Reverse the process to install the new front brakes.

Contact your local dealer, and be prepared with the Vehicle Identification Number, which can be found by looking down at the top of the dash from just outside the driver's position.
