Remember, if it is a lot colder than that you probably have a problem with your AC. Colder is not better (usually indicating coolant loss and causing ice-blocking) and if it is less, then your system is not working efficiently or can't cope with the imposed heat load.

The total fuel capacity is 19 gallons, the extra capacity being contained in the filler neck and equalizer tube.

Bad cam bearings could also affect oil pressure levels. The oil pump only provides the oil supply. The main, rod and cam bearings provide the pressure as the oil is squeezed past them.

There are numerous reasons that can cause the gauges to stop working. In my case, I found a pin on one of the printed circuit boards that had never been soldered. This pin supplied 12 DC power from one board to the other and was black from arcing over the years. This was an intermittent problem that would cause the gauges to come and go. I soldered the pin and the instrument cluster has been working flawlessly ever since. Bad grounds are often the cause for electrical problems in Corvettes.
