I'm looking for the same thing. My horn does not work and the fuse block does not have one listed. Someone told me they don't have one, the horn is controlled electronically and shuts off if honked too long. If so I can't find a reset. I unhooked the batteries hoping that would reset something but it didn't.

Before this question can be answered correctly the year is very important. One way is to unlock the door with the key, sit in the car turn on the key and lock and unlock the door with the power lock button. You can also try turning the key on leaving it on for a half hour the theft light should go out . Turn off car turn on again theft light sould be on, leave the key on for a half hour light should go out, turn off car repeate three times and a battery charger should be hooked up during this process because the battery may die. Also if you have an extra key try that first and the last ditch effort is take it to the dealer. Hope this helps

I have a 1982 Z28. I am in the middle of replacing all of the relays and fuses in it. There is a plethora of relays behind the dash, removal is necessary and is a relatively arduous task. I recommend you replace all of the relays if you have not done so yet. They are all as old as me and have probably been used as often to boot. There are also relays behind the radio enclosure and in the center console. I believe the horn relay is on the drivers side near the computer dock. Good luck.

sounds like a poor ground.

There should be an orange switch on both doors. They are located about 3/4 of the way up the door on the interior end of the open doors.

i would recommend no less than 87 octane but it all depends on compression ratio ie. upto 9.5:1 ratio u can get away with as low as 87 but recommended is 91 or higher. i run 11:1 compression with an msd 6AL and 235 pro lightning race heads on a street driven 550+ hp 400 sbc and i use autolite 24,25 or 26 plugs depending on time of year {colder in the summer & hotter for the winter) and i set gap for all at .047" . i use 91 or higher octane fuel only and timing is set at 38 degrees total timing under load. or around 12-13 static timing at idle no vacuum at dist.

There are numerous reasons that can cause the instrument panel to stop working. In my case, I found a pin on one of the printed circuit boards that had never been soldered. This pin supplied 12 DC power from one board to the other and was black from arcing over the years. This was an intermittent problem that would cause the entire panel to come and go. I soldered the pin and the instrument cluster has been working flawlessly ever since. Bad grounds are often the cause for electrical problems in Corvettes.

Technically yes, you can make anything fit anything with enough fabrication skills. But practically speaking, no. the body mount locations won't match up and the suspension parts will interfere with the 58 body.
