Some common types of wires used for installation include:
It typically takes about 5-8 quarts of transmission fluid to change the transmission fluid in a 1997 Chevy Lumina, but it's best to check your owner's manual for the exact amount needed for your specific vehicle.
The volts light coming on in your 1995 Chevrolet Lumina could indicate a problem with the charging system, such as a failing alternator or a weak battery. It is recommended to have the charging system checked by a mechanic to diagnose and address the issue.
To set the clock on a '94 Chevy Lumina, you typically need to press and hold the "clock" button on the radio until the time display starts blinking. Then, use the "seek" or "tune" buttons to adjust the hours and minutes. Once you have set the correct time, press the "clock" button again to lock it in place.
you need a special GM tool , a star design socket. This will remove the two large bolts holding the caliper mount to the chassie. I am in the process of replaceing three wheel studs , but first have to remove the rotor.
If the antenna is broken off at the base the entire base will need to be replaced. In order to do this the upper dash pad and the cowl will have to be removed so the three bolts will be exposed to remove the broken one.
The easiest way to bypass the theft deterrent module is to remove the fuse. The location of the fuse can be found on the inside cover of the fuse box.
Should be drain plug on engine side of radiator down towards the passenger side. Drain fluid and dispose of properly. There is no easy way, remove hoses connected to the radiator at the radiator and electrical fan housing this should have a wire connecting plug. You will not have to take off the front of the car. just work your way from the hoses to the radiator. If you feel that you will have problem remembering where things go use masking tape and marker to label. Example take two pieces of tape and write # 1 on each place one on the item your removing and the other on the spot where you removed it from.
the module is under the coils, unplug the wires, unbot all three coils and unbolt the module. Make sure to use plenty of dielectric grease for a good ground
Try going to a hardware store & buying a coping saw blade {it looks like a piece of wire with a spiral cut running down it} cut the end off the blade and with the ignition turned to the place where you would pull the key out, slide the wire of the blade in next to the key and gently slide it out.... the spiral cut in the blade should grab the key and pull it along with the blade.... if that doesn't work you may need to see a locksmith.
Take off the panel under the steering column. Turn on your turn signal so you can hear it, and then search for it haha It's somewhere in there.
It took me quite a while til I found mine, but it's there. I think you can also feel it when you touch it so you don't get it confused with the hazards.
The only protective gear worn in professional boxing matches are gloves. Head gear is usually given to more amateur fighters, such as in high school.
The correct size is listed in your owners manual and on a placard located on the drivers door post.
Try the rear side of the radiator approx. 1/3 down from the top
on the car its fairly simple disconnect battery. use 3\8 drive ratchet put in the auto tensioner arm for serpentine belt and lift up remove belt. remove bolts going to wish bone mounts at front of engine. tilt engine forward. disconnect wire harness to alternator{should be 10mm} remove bolt from bracket at bottom of alternator. tilt alternator up and remove bolt from bottom back. hope this helped.
You don't. Starter fluid is a really good way to damage the motor inside because it created far more pressure than the motor is designed for. It's best to find and fix the problem rather than use the fluid. You would put starter fluid in the gas tank.
On the bottom of the button at the lower right corner of the panel are two tiny buttons marked hr and mn. They can be hard to see. Just push them to change the time BUT you must hold each button in for a few seconds before it starts to respond. The radio must be turned off when you change the time.
Did you first check the fuses for both of these items ? Secondly, I had a similar problem with my headlights (I had no dash lights )so I went to the bone yard and got a headlight switch and replaced it now they work and I have dash lights As for your second problem I an in the middle of trying to solve that mystery myself sorry I could not be more help Wipers might not turn on due to the 4.8 amp curcuit breaker being out, depending on year it is different locations refer to your manual to find location
It is under the dash to the right of the steering column near the brake light switch. remove cover toward the fire wall look up . it is on the right hand side, it sets in a clip. pull it out much easier to change. It took only 10 min once I figured out it was not where the manual said it was. I spent about an hour before I went to the fire wall.
If you have a MPFI (multi port fuel injection) the injectors are either on the intake manifold or the cylinder head in either case they are usually close to where the intake manifold and cylinder head meet. There will be a fuel line feeding all injectors and a electrical plug to each one.Since I don't know what vehicle you are referring to,it is possible it has throttle body fuel injection, looks a little like a carburetor and will be on the intake manifold.
