I had this problem once before all that happened is the cord was unplugged. the cord should be below the reservoir and right around the power steering lines. Each end is green its not very big. If there connected the wire is probably broken somewhere.

The transmission control module is located on the drivers side just behind the headlight. you can tell it has a large wire harness there.

It's where you'd expect, at the bottom of the radiator in a corner. On the engine side of the radiator. It unscrews counter-clockwise, same as a bolt.

However, there are supports in the way with only a small access hole, and the drain fitting is made of plastic, easily broken. Replacement fittings are available, but it's a hassle.

It might be far easier to just remove the lower radiator hose.

This is a fairly common problem on these vehicles. It is usually caused by a bad body control module, or BCM. If you buy a new one it has to be reprogrammed for your car by the dealer.

You will need to take it into a mechanic. They will be able to provide you with the parts that are needed to do it right.

the turn signal/hazard flasher is located under the dash between the brake pedal and the fuse block.

You may have tried this, and excuse me if it seems really simple....but have you tried pressing the unlock button on the Key Fob? on some LH bodies the passenger front door lock can trip making the controller think the car is being stolen with all doors closed and locked unlock the pass front with the key open and then close the door this usually resets that lock

open hood and look at top of head light you will see a screw on 2 sides remove both and light assy will come out if screws will not come out (happens alot) seek prof help

On the front of the crankshaft, behind the timing belt/chain.

That is part of the trans range sensor (trs) inside the trans on the valve body.

It is interference.

Not sure what you need answered but I have had an issue 2 times now where the hood latch won't release my hood.

In my case I had to gently using a wedge pry the front of my hood open enough that I could fit my ratchet with an extention and a 13mm socket to the bolts that hold down the latch and open my hood.

Aparently the 1980's were a bit of an odd time for luxury cars. People wanted to design high tech vehicles but didn't have the technology. Some cars that were out and considererd luxury would be the BMW early 300 series and the Mercedes 300SD. Also the Toyota Cressida was considered quite flash. Cadillac also bought out the Eldorado then but it was one of their worst cars then. Bently bought out some nice cars too around that time

It may be the pcv (positive cranckcase valve) or the idle air control valve, iav.

You may or may not be able to retrieve the codes with the ignition switch. * Turn the ignition key ON,OFF,ON,OFF,and finally ON again(ENGINE NOT RUNNING) * The codes will start to flash on the POWER LOSS or CHECK ENGINE light. * FLASH,pause,FLASH,FLASH=code 12 is an example. * If this does not work you will need an OBD2 scan tool. * Some auto parts store will scan if free.

mine was the overflow tank. was cracked at the bottom so you couldn't see. it cost me 27 bucks

It could possibly be reverse threaded (right to loosen, left to tighten).

I have a 1999 Chrysler Concorde. I had the same problem where my steering wheel turned but had no tension left in it and didnt turn the tires. What had happened in my car is the bolt holding the tie rods onto the steering component had broken in half (Pretty much sheered). All that needed to be done was I had to get a new bolt from Chrysler for like 20 bucks and then go down to where the steering component connects to the tie rods and replace the bolt. I had to actually take the whole component out as part of the old bolt was stuck in the component. After we got the old bolt out we just put the component back in connected the tie rods to the new bolt and put everything back to where it was supposed to be.

The cooling fan will turn off when the temperature drops to normal temperature. When the temperature generated by the device does not cause damage to the device, or when the device is no longer in use, the cooling fan will be turned off.

Trouble code P0340 means:Camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction

The check engine light comes on and stays on when a problem is detected by the self diagnosis system of your vehicle. Generally, the problem is in the emissions or something that is affecting the effectiveness of the emissions, but other causes can trigger the light to come on, too. To determine the cause, the vehicle will need to be taken to AutoZone or a shop that has an OBD2 scanner, or for 1995 and earlier models, an OBD1 scanner, While a scanner will not give you the magic answer, it will give you a code that narrows down the problem area.

Check the transmission fluid level and if it is ok then the transmission may be broke. You need to have the trans checked for codes. That complaint sounds like a major internal failure.
