LINK... SLIDE THE PEICE OF PIPE OVER AND WELD EACH END TO THE DRAG LINK. FIXED MINE... BETTER THAN EVER!

Its non-adjustable, i have the same year truck, 5-speed as well.

how many gears does a 1995 Yamaha Virago 250 have? And is there anywhere I could look at a picture diagram of what need to take place in order to shift from gear to gear?

There's a bleeder valve on the clutch slave cylinder, which is usually located on the front of the transmission up front near the radiator and such. To bleed the clutch you open it. And be prepared for it to take a while, cause there's a lot more fluid in those lines than you would think. You'll have to top off the Master cylinder reservoir more than a few times.

the first thing you do is kick start you bike. Than you pull in the clutch and click down the gear shift wth your left foot. Than you let the clutch out slowly then you off!! the gearshift- after you pull in the clutch you click down to get in gear 1 than gear two ect. to get into neutral you click down to gear 1 than you click half way up
pull the clutch aND KICK START YOUR BIKE. HOLD THE CLUTCH AND SWITCH 2 1ST GEAR. GIVE THE BIKE A LITTLE GAS AND LET GO OF THE CLUTCH. THEN WHEN YOUR RPMS ARE ALL THE WAY FULL LET OF THE GAS PULL THE CLUTCH SWITCH 2 2ND GEAR THEN GIVE IT GAS THEN KEEP DOING THOSE STEPS.... MABYE SOMEDAY ALL MEET U ONE THE TRACK, lata

hi ,look at the front of the eng, clutch side and you will see a conecter going in to the front of the gear box, on this pipe you will see a small bleed nip, size 10ml get a mate to pump the clutch ,hold down the cluth and undo the nip to let the air out do the nip back up and release the pedal up keep doing this till all the air is out or the pedal is right to the top or a bit stiff,dont forget to keep the res toped up, good luck

In 1998, I paid about $600 at the Alexandria Va dealership for a 91 4-cylinder DL Camry. I paid about $1000 from the same dealer in 2004. I had another clutch job done in February 2009 by an independent shop for $1100. All jobs included a new clutch plate, clutch bearing, and pressure plate. Lots of labor involved.

The first two numbers in the transmission nomenclature tell you this, e.g., an FRO16210C is rated for 1600 lbs/ft of torque, an RTLO18918 is rated for 1800 lbs/ft, etc.

my car had new clutch about six month ago its a renualt espace exspression 2.0 16v y reg petrol manual my clutch petal is now about 2inches from the floor were is this hidrolic or low gear box oil or new cable can any one help

it is most likely a self adjusting cable. if you look near the clutch itself, it there are two nuts on the cable, then you can adjust it there. if there is a black cylcinder at the clutch side of the cable then this is self adjusting.

No. Clutch is what disengages the motor from the transmission. Shift would be changing gears. You should depress the clutch to shift from one gear to another.

There is more than reason. A clutch has plates that engage and disengage. The plates can wear out , often mostly due to riding the clutch or other improper operation. The clutch also has bearing and springs- if any of these breaks, the clutch fails.

It depends on how well you treat it, mine is 8 years old and still going strong. If you begin to feel slipping when starting off or difficulty in shifting especially into 1st from a stop then replace it.

There is no clutch adjustment, it is all hydraulic. 1st thing to check is the clutch fluid which is tucked away under the driver side of the car near the firewall. On mine it was leaking fluid slowly and had gotten low. I went a while just putting fluid into it and would work fine for a while. One day I had no fluid and could not get it in gear and was late for work. I made the mistake of assuming that one type of hydraulic fluid is about the same as another and put in some transmission stop leak. Big mistake- this quickly swelled my cap rubber to where could not get the lid back on and then caused my master cylinder to totally fail. I replaced the master cyclinder, the slave cylinder seems to be inside the transmission so did not replace it, but blead as much fluid out as I could and replaced with real brake fluid. Then blead as much air out as I could, the only place to bleed I have found so far is near the master cylinder I need to be able to bleed it near the slave. Anyway since then I have been fighting it, in cold weather or wet weather will not release, when it warms up I am fine. I hope someone can shed some light on how to replace the slave cylinder and or if there is access to another location to bleed the air out.
