How to remove a Flywheel on a 1999 75 hp mercury outboard?

You can use a three bolt steering wheel type puller if it is not too tight . You may need to purchase the puller made specifically for removing the flywheel that threads into the hub itself. I bought one on-line for $42 bucks. Absolutely DO NOT heat or hammer on the flywheel because you WILL screw up the stator , the trigger sleeve or the flywheel stator magnets that are epoxied to the flywheel. My flywheel was so tight, I had to put tension on the puller and let Liquid Wrench soak in overnight before it finally came loose. Note: Once your flywheel is off, DO NOT remove the magnetic sleeve pressed onto the inner hub. It is a critical timing piece that is epoxied onto the hub in a precise position that even the factory could not tell me how to position it correctly.

How do you calculate the maximum rpm of a flywheel before it explodes?

You need to calculate the tangential stresses associated with a rotational velocity and thickness of the flywheel. It will be easier to assume a perfect cylinder and you will also need to know the material properties of your flywheel (poisson's ratio, density).

How do you bleed clutch slave cylinder on a 93 Chevrolet s-10?

Loosen of the bleeding nipple, now tighten it back a little. pit a plastic tube over the nipple and hang the end of the tube into a container that has some fluid in it just to stop air from being sucked up it. Loosen of the nipple. Make sure the master is full and gently pump the fluid through, all the time making sure that the master cylinder does not empty. when no more bubbles are coming through the tube fasten the bleeding nipple and the clutch should be working after a couple of more pumps.

AC Compressor Bad Clutch is rattling on 1992 Saturn can you bypass with shorter belt?

Apparently you can. I'm in the process of doing this now on a 1997 sl2. The belt route diagram shows both routes. I believe you will lose the air dryer with the defrost setting but for a short term solution the cars back on the road. I also unplugged the clutch assemblyon the compressor. The new A/C clutch assembly is $142 and has to be ordered. I only found one parts store that will order it for me.

How do you change a clutch master cylinder in a Mitsubishi 3000 gt?

Under the hood - drain or soak up the brake fluid in the reservoir, remove 4 nuts/bolts to pull the A/C hose out of the way (tie it off), remove the plastic reservoir, disconnect the fluid line from the master cylinder (m/c). From inside the car - pull the pin that connects the rod to the clutch pedal, remove the 2 nuts that are holding the master cyl in place. Manipulate the m/c and rod and pull it out toward the engine compartment - it may require some force. If you rebuild it, make sure you hone it out and clean before assy. Try to adj the rod the same for fine tuning later - it will make it easier. Reverse for installation.
