Typical notation for a power of a number is the carat ^

So x^2 means 'x squared'. If you meant the superscript (²), then that's a 178 ASCII character (Hex B2).

Don't know if that's what you're looking for. It used to be in older versions of Windows and DOS, you could press Ctrl-Alt then 1 7 8 (on the number pad), and you'd get the character associated with that ASCII value. That doesn't work on my laptop, though.

If you're wanting a 'square' looking character, then try the Wingdings font.

The standard 4 home row keys on the right are J, K, L and the key with the semi-colon and colon on it. Keyboards in some countries have their keys laid out differently so there can be differences in some cases.

The symbol (a superscript 2) is not available on general keyboards.

However, most text handling programs (Word etc) allow the input of the ascii code for special symbols of which the squared sign is one. These symbols should display in files using charsets ISO 8859-1 or UTF-8.

For Windows operating systems, ensure the number lock is on , hold down the Alt key and using the numeric keypad type in 0178. The symbol 2 will appear in your document at the cursor position. Alternatively, use the 'Insert' menu heading and find symbols. A table will then be displayed in which you will find the 2 symbol. Click on the box containing this figure and then click on the Insert button.

Use the caret (shift 6). eg 3 squared can be typed as 3^2.

the num lock, locks the right side numbers on a keyboard. we will not be able to access it. however, the numbers on the right will work as arrow keys. for example-2 will work as down,8 will work as up, 4 will work as left while, 6 will work as right.

A qwerty keyboard has 5 distinct sections:

1. Alphanumeric keys: A-Z, 0-9, and other special characters like $ Shift, Caps Lock, Enter, Spacebar, Tab, and Backspace are also alphanumeric
2. Function keys: F1-F12
3. Numeric keys: Right side of keyboard: 0-9, +, -, *, /, .
4. Control keys: Print Screen, Scroll lock, Pause, Insert, Home, Delete, End, Page Down, Page Up, Ctrl, Alt, Esc, Num Lock
5. Cursor keys: Up, Down, Left, Right Arrows

The inequality sign is not on any keyboard that I know of, but it sometimes can be found in special characters lists on word processing programs. On a manual typewriter, it can be made by overstriking an "=" with "/", if both are available.

if your keyboard has an usb port, connect it, if it has a midi port, buy a midi to usb converter, connect it and start ableton. add a device to your project using the panel on the left. configure that device, click the note sign which turns into red after you click. you cn find that button on the device you created. when you play , you should be hearing the sound of the device you created.

be careful, you should connect your keyboard before you run the software.

You might also use the "MIDI" button up top right...Press it and everything should turn blue...click on certain items on the screen that you would like to control with your keyboard and then press the key on the keyboard you would like to map that function to. click on the "MIDI" button again and you should be able to use that function of your keyboard

The key to my ignition broke off in the ignition. Luckily, I was able to insert the remainder of the key in the ignition and turn on my car. In order to fix the problem, I had to take my car to the dealer and I am pretty sure they removed it and installed a new ignition "key hole" keyed to my car. It is a 1990, and I believe the problem happened approx 1993?

The country that the keyboard was invented in depends on which type of keyboard. The musical keyboard and computer keyboards were invented in different countries.
