How do you fix the sliding door on a 92 ford aerostar?
Alignment of the latch strikes, door tracks, flush fit, and height, can be pretty involved. Define 'fix'. Mine was making a terrible, metal-tometal grinding sound when used. I had to replace the top slider (I think there are three - one on top, and one in the middle and , of course, one on the bottom -- so check them all!). It was a bit of a bear to do by myself, but it was worth it. The part cost me about $30. If it is stuck shut try this. I have a 1991 Aerostar that had the same problem. You have to remove the inside door panels. follow the door mechanism from the front to the back (You won't be able to see it at the back) What I did was to cut a small hole (1-2 inches) near the back of the door to be able to see the rod. I found that were the rod connects to an "L" shaped part the "L" was bent outwards (toward the outside of the door). By bending it back towards the inside of the door I was able to get the door open. I had the same problem on MY 91 Aerostar and that was the fix it needed.....and gave me an excuse to buy the Dremel I always wanted.....lol. After cutting the access hole I was able to see the rod was bent. Thanks!
Where is the EGR Valve on a 2000 Dodge Caravan?
It is located in the back of the motor directly below and behind where the air intake boot attaches to the aluminum intake. there are two bolts that hold it on and one electrical connection. if your check engine light is on, this may be the easiest and most likely thing to try and repair. over time, the EGR valve gets gunked up with a lot of carbon and exhaustcrap that causes a flow restriction. take the valve off and give it a good cleaning with gumout or any carb cleaner. also be sure to give the mating surface and ports a good cleaning too. hopefully this will turn the light off and save you about $200 on a bill from the mechanic. replacemment valves are cheap for most caravans ($60). I've seen them cost over $160 for some cars and trucks. Good luck

How do you remove starter from 92 Pontiac grand am with 2.3 with quad 4?
there are two bolts one is under the power steering pump and a pain to get to it takes a 15 mm deep well and a long handled ratchet, then you have to use a wrench when the ratchet bottoms out. Once that is removed jack up car and on the bottom side of the starter ther is another bolt either a 17 mm or 15 mm. this one is pretty easy to remove. then drop starter and take off 2 nuts that hold on wires. make sure to put wires back on the same terminals they came off of or the car wont run and you will have to pull starter again

How do I Replace an alternator in 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan?
For my 1995 Dodge Grand Caravan with a 3.3L engine
The most important point here is that on a 3.3L engine it has to come out underneath. The main secret the store manuals don't tell you is that you have to remove the one bolt that holds the flexible rubber exhaust clamp to the middle of the body underneath; you can now push on the exhaust in the middle and this will allow it to flex over enough to barely be able to remove the alternator between the body and the exhaust. As an additional measure for removal room, i removed the three metal nuts that hold the catalytic converter heat shield in place under the passenger floor pan. Everything else is pretty standard; remove battery cable, take off wire connectors, use breaker bar with socket to unload tension on serpentine belt pulley & belt comes right off, two bolts from underneath for metal guard, lastly two bolts for the alternator. Just a final tip, make sure to use the new nuts that come with the rebuilt alternator & be very careful not to over tighten the wire connections; unfortunately, I've found the replacement metals they use are softer than the original and it takes nothing to twist off a connector, especially an old dirty nut reused.
2005 dodge caravan PCV valve location?
Look for a large rubber tube attached to the manifold port located on the top left side (passenger) rising up and and then curving down to the rear valve cover pcv port. It is a squeeze, but work the hose off the pcv port, and "voila" the pcv valve is INSIDE the port. Pull it out with its attached grommet. Do not attempt to clean. Replace, only, and save the receipt for the engine warranty. This engine can burn oil if it is a valve seal or manifold plenum proplem.

Can you use 16 inch rims on a 15 inch rim?
Not sure what you're asking here.
You can't put 16 inch tires on 15 inch wheels (or vice versa), hence the different sizes.
You can, however, put 16 inch wheels on a vehicle that normally has 15 inch wheels. You just need to ensure that the bolt pattern and center holes are exactly the same measurements and you may need to use a lower profile tire to achieve the proper tire-to-wheelwell clearances.
