Next, disconnect the steering gear from the steering shaf and also from the steering linkage. Then, remove the three bolts mounting the steering gear to the frame of the van.
Install the replacement steering gear in reverse order of removing the old one.
Next, fill the power steering fluid, and purge the system of air.
You will now need to get the wheel alignment adjusted and then you're done.

Get a vice grip. Put it on a water pump pulley bolt. Put a long pipe on the wrench's handle, and rotate it until it hits the ground. Now grab a channelocks and break free the fan, using the wrench/pipe/ground to hold the pulley in place.
Your in tank fuel pump is getting weak. Keeping the fuel tank above half full gives the pump a little inlet pressure causing it to deliver a little higher presure. Check your fuel filter. It is the cause of many fuel pump faliures. . Ron Palmer

Your best bet would be to get a service manual for your car. If you can't get a GM one, you could try either Haynes or Chilton manuals - but they may not have exactly what you are looking for.
