A wire could be cut. check the resistance of the wires from the connectors to find a break. they could be broken from wear. or it could be the motors themselves that are bad, but check the wires first before replacing them.

Moister getting into a distributer cap often cause a car not to start. Spark plug wires will also do the same thing when worne out. Although a crack in the distrsbutor may not be visible, the smallest crack will cause this problem. I hope this helped you!!!

I had a problem with my car that it wouldn't start in the summer when it was hot or humid. I brought it to many mechanics, and they said it was everything from the o2 sensor to this to that. The last mechanic I brought it to took a month, and realized that my key, has a chip in it, and the chip is needed IN the key to start the car. The car place had pulled the chip out of the key and taped into the ignition, therefore ANY key would start the car, but when it got humid, the tape screwed up the ignition and the car would start, but would die and turn off due to the theft security. might want to check that out!

The main problem is that it is a Chrysler. You may think im joking but that car will give you mire problems then anything if you keep it.

there is a fuse under the hood for "fuel ingtion system" # 20 amp change that im searching why my car keeps blowing the same fuse

I don't think that anyone actually knows as I have read over 100 "expert" responces and they never actually tell you the fuse number. They start talking about checking everything but the fuse.

How many miles did you operate the vehicle between the STOP LEAK instalation and and the stalling problem? Where was the bad leak?

The starter motor on this application will be located on the rear of the engine (towards the firewall). It is located on the lower side of the motor, with the wiring harness also facing the rear. Those 2001 Dodge Stratus vehicles equipped with the 3.0L V6 have the starter part number of Denso #2804165.

you need to jack the car up in the front on the drivers side. take the wheel off and there is an access pannel there with clips (the inside fender well). once you have taken this pannel off, you just need to remove the cables negative first, and change the battery out. approximately 1/2 hour job. Its on the drivers side of the car in the front under the fender , all you have to do is turn your wheel to your right all the way and you will be able to take the battery out and replace it the same way. Its also in your owners manual. I had to do it myself , its not hard at all. sucks where the battery is at but hey , it has to get done one day.

Find the fuse in the fuse box that goes to the power windows. (it should be labeled on the lid or some where near.) then once you know which type of fuse to get. It is probably a 15 or 20. Go to a car parts store like checkered or advanced auto parts and buy a matching fuse. Then just switch the old with the new. Your best bet is to bring the old fuse in so your sure to get the same kind.

Inside the top are numbers that correspond to a page in the owners manual (its the page listed in the index under "fuses") which tell you which part they are for (ie the top will say box 39, box 40 ...but the owners manual will tell you that those boxes are for ex the rad fan hi and rad fan low)

For your stratus the fuel pump is located inside the gas tank, you will need to unbolt the straps that hold the tank in place, or sometimes just loosen them up enough that the tank will slide out of it's strapped cradle. If the tank is full, you may want to drain as much fuel from it as you can by using a small tubed siphoning hose. If this is new to you, skip this part, and have a friend handy with a jack. You can make a cradle for the tank by screwing 3 2x4's together in an "H" pattern, center the jack on the middle 2x4 so that the two ends support either side of the tank. When the tank starts to lower, on the top of the tank itself you will see where all your wires connect to the top of the pump, and where the gas lines connect, carefully undo these lines and the plugs. Once this has been done, and the gas tank is secure, look to see if your fuel pump is fastened by screws, if it isn't, it should have an interlockin ring around it. If it has the ring, carefully use a large tip, flat bladed screwdriver, to slowly tap the ring till it unlocks. (to avoid damage to the metal ring, and avoid a spark, cover the tip with a wet rag, or damp towel. Once the ring is disengaged remove the unit out of the tank.

MSN Autos reported the blower motor problem as a resistor failure on the blower motor. In plain English, this means that the resistor on the fan motor which tells it to slow down to a lower speed than "max" is burnt out and no longer completes the circuit. If your heater is on & the fan isn't blowing, it's like a toaster in your dash, with no toast in it. It'll just smell like burning. Apparently it's a cheap fix. The resistor just has to be replaced.

The thermostat is located under the top radiator hose inlet on the engine. Removing the top radiator hose and inlet will allow access to the thermostat.

this depends on your engine. Usually it is run by the timing belt.
