Why are ostrich not found in India?
Hmm...
Well the simple answer is that Ostriches evolved in Africa and never spread to India because they couldn't cross the Sahara.
However the Ostriches' are part of a related group called the Ratites which evolved on Gondwana.
(Gondwana was a super-continent made up of South America, Africa, Arabia, Madagascar, Antarctica, Australia, New Zealand and India.)
Ratites survive today as the Ostrich in Africa, the Emu and Cassowary in Australia, the Kiwi in New Zealand and the Rhea in South America, as well as by the extinct Elephant Bird of Madagascar and Moa of New Zealand. Why then would none be found in India? I simply don't know.
Why were the buffalo important to the Sioux?
The buffalo was the mainstay for the Plains tribes, not just Sioux. The buffalo provided most of the People's meat, which was dried to keep over winter. They provided hides for shelter and for robes. The buffalo horns made utensils. Basically every part of the buffalo was used in one form or another.

What is camel application protocol and what is the role of cap in IMS?
The Customized Applications for Mobile network Enhanced Logic (CAMEL) provides the mechanisms to support services of operators, which are not covered by standardized GSM services even when roaming outside the HPLMN (Home Public Land Mobile Network).
The CAMEL feature is a network feature and not a supplementary service. It is a tool to help the network operator provide the subscribers with the operator specific services even when roaming outside the HPLMN. In this specification, the GSM Service Control Function (gsmSCF) is treated as being part of the HPLMN.
The regulatory environment in some countries may require the possibility that the gsmSCF and the HPLMN are controlled by different operators, and the gsmSCF and the HPLMN are therefore distinct entities.
In the first phase the CAMEL features support: * Mobile originated and forwarded calls * Mobile terminating calls * Any time interrogation * Suppression of announcements Note that CAMEL is not applicable to Emergency Setup (TS 12), i.e., in case an emergency call has been requested the gsmSSF is not invoked.
The CAMEL mechanism addresses especially the need for information exchange between the VPLMN (Visited PLMN) or IPLMN (Interrogating PLMN) and the HPLMN for support of operator specific services. Subscribers who have subscribed to operator specific services and therefore need the functional support of the CAMEL feature are marked in the HPLMN and VPLMN. In case a subscriber is marked to need CAMEL support, the appropriate procedures, which provide the necessary information to the VPLMN or to the HPLMN, are invoked. It is possible for the HPLMN to instruct the VPLMN or IPLMN to interact with a gsmSCF, which is controlled by the HPLMN. The CAMEL protocol is an upper layer protocol which is carried over the TCAP protocol as the data portion. In an analogy to common protocols we can parallel the TCAP to the header and the CAMEL to the rest of the decode. The message types are in the format of asn1 messages. Like most asn1 applicable protocols, the CAMEL protocol has many message types that carry a high volume of data. Who is the camel person on Animal Crossing?
The "camel" in animal crossing is Sahara, and here is what you do depending on which animal crossing version you have:
Animal Crossing (Gamecube): You talk to Sahara and Sahara will give you a rare carpet for the price of 3,000 bells per rare carpet.
Animal Crossing Wild World: Deliver two carpets to two people in town and Sahara will give you either a wallpaper or carpet of your choice (you choose either the specified wallpaper of specified carpet).
Animal Crossing City Folk: You must give Sahara 3 old carpets given to you by your neighbors, and in exchange, Sahara will give you a rare carpet.
How many bison were there in US at their maximum?
It was believed that there were hundreds of thousands of them.
The estimates range from 30 to 75 million. buffalo
Bison are threatened because, during the 1800s, hunters attempted to exterminate them. They hoped that if there were no bison, the Native Americans who relied on them would starve. Then the land would be free to use for settlers of European descent. They almost caused bison to go extinct. Today, there is a shortage of habitat for large populations of bison.
Snails are 1mm to 312 mm long.
That means they don't weigh much...
The sound camels make is called nuzzing. If you were to meet a camel and say hi, the camel would say, "nuzz nuzz."
No, but they may eat the needles if there is no other food to eat.
How to raise a single rooster?
Its not a good idea to EVER raise a chicken alone.
Chickens are very social creatures, and need/crave social interaction with their own kind, as they live in flocks, or groups. From my experience, raising a young cock alone can turn him into a very bad bird.
If you have no choice, follow instructions on food and etc that you would for any other chick. As for housing, you can buy a dog house or other shelter and house him in that. Make sure that he doesnt get too cold, and always has plenty of food and water.
I raised a single rooster that was born in December and would not have survived otherwise. When he was five months old I took him back to work and he got along with all the other chickens just fine. Afterwards he let me pick him up and show him off to visitors and was very friendly. I wouldn't keep just one to have just one though.
