Is it possible not to hear heart beat in the womb?
The earliest a doctor can get a baby's heartbeat on a Doppler inside the womb is 9 weeks... any earlier and it might not be able to be heard! Hope this helps... on the flip side you should take into account your size. If you are smaller it might happen sooner and if you are larger than it may happen a little later.
Yes very normal. Give it two weeks and you should be able to see for yourself that it will be a normal pregnancy.
How formed is a 24 week old baby?
Your baby isn't just sitting around (on your bladder) doing nothing, he's working hard preparing for life outside the womb-perfecting his lungs and packing on the pounds. He'll gain ½ pound this week alone. Other highlights this week:
Things are starting to get a little crowded inside the old womb as baby grows bigger and bigger. Your ribs are probably pining away for the good old days when they didn't have a foot permanently lodged between them. Hate to break it to you, but it's going to get worse before it gets better.
Your baby's ears are fully functional now. And since they are, you may notice that loud noises and sudden movements can startle the little bugger. He's getting used to the everyday sounds inside the womb: the sound of your heart beating, your lungs inhaling and exhaling air, the growling of your stomach because your partner promised he'd be right back with that double cheeseburger and he's taking forever! He'll even be able to hear your voice when your partner finally arrives and you ask him where the bleephe's been! So talk nice!
Baby's got a fully developed inner ear now. This means his sense of balance is working and he can tell whether he's hanging upside down or right side up. He can also feel you moving, so go ahead, pop in your favorite tunes and boogie.
Your little Wiener schnitzel is about the length of a foot-long Chicago hot dog and weighs about 1 1/3 pounds.
Should a fetus have the same moral and legal rights as its mother?
No. That would never be fair since the fetus is inside another persons body. Even in death do we decide over our bodies and we can't just enter someone's house because we feel like it but we should be allowed to enter other people's bodies and with all the risks and health problems a pregnancy can bring? No, that would be impossible.
The Conundrum:
Big problem of double standard here.
A fetus is a fetus until birth, at which time it becomes a child. As a fetus, it has no rights, yet after 20 weeks of gestation, should the fetus cease to function (die), a death certificate must be filed to record the event.
The irony here should be obvious. In the event it isn't, a death certificate recognizes and records the death of a person. It is not possible for anything to simultaneously be something and not that something. Okay, for those who might be philosophically challenged, no one can be a person and not be a person at the same time.
Because the topic of abortion is so charged, there has been the attempt made to divide the infant (pardon the allusion).
So, to the question; morally you have to decide for yourself. Legally, the citizenry really needs to force the legislature and judiciary to sort out the contradictions and chaos.
What is considered the normal range for neural tube measurement in a fetus?
if measurement of neural tube is greater than 2.5mm indicates down syndrome
I am 7 weeks pregnant and my baby's heart beat is only 86 is that normal?
A normal heart beat is suppose to be from 120-180 around that time. When i go to the doctors my babys heart beat was always about 150. I would ask you're doctor sweetey! Good luck
You are 17 weeks and your babies heart beat is 160 beats a minute what does this mean?
means you are most likely having a girl. usually the higher the heartbeat its a girl 150-170=girl 130-150= boy

How come no one can remember life in the womb and being born?
No. If someone says that they do.......they are full of poop.
The baby grows in the womb - which is another word for uterus. The pre-pregnancy uterus is fairly small, about the size of a woman's tightly clenched fist. It sits right above the vagina. The cervix - which can be felt at the top of the vagina connects the uterus and the vagina.
Before pregnancy the uterus is situated safely behind your pubic bone, unless a girl or woman is extremely thin, it can't really be felt by pressing on your tummy. Once an embryo attaches to the lining of the uterus, the uterus starts to move up - just a little bit to make room for the uterus to grow with the baby.
At 12 weeks gestation the very top of the womb (called the fundus) can be felt at the same height as the pubic bone - for the next 28 to 30 weeks it will grow at the rate of 1cm/week - so by 20 weeks the womb will measure 20cm and will be about even with the mother's belly button. Tracking this growth is one way the doctor knows all is progressing normally. At 40 weeks the womb will measure 40cm - by this time most women are pretty sure there is no more room in the womb - thankfully the journey is about over.
When you hear someone talk about about the baby growing in their stomach feel free to remind them the baby is no where near their stomach, as it safely safely grows womb and all.
