Can worn fuel injectors cause poor fuel economy?
Yes. Fuel injectors that are worn out can "slobber" fuel into the engine creating a rich mixture. This means to much fuel, not enough air = poor fuel economy. This can also be caused by a very dirty air cleaner, bad Oxy sensor(s), bad mass air flow sensor, carboned IAC valve and a host of other things.

Why did your radio and interior lights quit working?
These are on the same fuse as well as the dashboard clock and if you look along the bottom row of fuses, there is a 7.5 amp fuse( brownish color) around the middle of the row. This fuse will need to be replaced and the accessories should be fine. If the fuse blows again, get it checked as replacing with a higher rated fuse is asking for problems.

What would cause a 1995 Ford Contour to overheat?
I have a 1995 contour with the same exact problem. The autoshop said it was some type of temperature sensor. It cost me $58.00. They said there was only two sensors that it would affect. They changed them both. I also changed the water pump and thermostat. It still appears to be warm, but it's nothing compard to what it used to be. I also had the same problem, and replaced my engine twice cause the mechanics didn't find the right problem...the water pump was to blame on my 2nd engine, and when it overheated, it warped the very thin and weak head cover, so if you are still running warm, you might want to check your gaskets, and your water pump. The more you overheat, the higher your risk of warping your head, and they cannot be shaved, they have to be replaced. Your cylinders may also become scored, so check your spark plugs for anitfreeze. Contours do tend to run warm, just beaware of your temperatures, a new engine cost over $3000 CDN plus labour.
How do you change fluid in hydraulic clutch on 1995 Ford Contour?
A "hydraulic clutch" use's standard DOT 3 Brake Fluid nothing more. Follow the steel line from the master cylinder up, where it ends is the Fluid Reservoir. Use caution when replacing the fluid as you do not want air in the lines. So to change the fluid simply remove the fluid using an old Turkey baster and pour in the new fluid to the correct level.
Where is the relay for the daytime running lights on a 1995 ford contour?
In the engine compartment on the drivers side near the front is a covered power junction box. The relay is white and usually missing on USA cars.
Yep, Sounds like the o'le fuel pumper is going out. This will only work a couple times. Sometimes you can get to the pump by lifting up the rear seat and the cover that is over the tank. If you cant then the tank will have to be "dropped". I hope this helps you. Good luck, Brad.
Does the 2000 ford contour have a none interference motor?
The 4-cylinder 2.0 liter engine is a non-interference engine, in that the pistons have "cutouts" in the tops to prevent the valves hitting them in case the timing belt breaks.
The 2.5 liter V6 does not require this, since it uses a timing chain, rather than a belt.

The fuse would be under the dash near the left kick panel. If you have the owners manual, it will show which slot is designated for the wipers.
Where is the oil filter located on the 1998 ford contour 2.0 liter located?
Should be on the passenger side, on the lower back of the motor. If you take the passenger side tire off, there is a large plastic access panel that can be removed providing easy access, but i think you can get to it from the bottom just as easy.

Here's a few of my thoughts
If you consider going that direction, be sure to look into buying one of those cable-operated hose clamp tools! Autozone and Sears are just 2 sources - about $40 or so. If you ever deal with factory hose clamps, you will give this tool a velvet lined case of its own after the first time you use it.
There's more, but I'm working off memory just now - I'll come back and fill in more details...
