my 1993 gmc did the same thing-we replaced everything. finally,replacing the distributor was what worked, but now she goes thru distributors like candy.

The 4.3 is a V6. If the Sierra had a V6 in it, then it will. If it had a V8 in it, then you will have to move the motor mounts and/or purchase motor mounts for the conversion.

first, tilt the wheel all the way up, you will find 2 torx screws under the column housing. remove the bottom half of housing. then you need a 4mm socket to remove 2 bolts from underneath- one on left side and one on the right. You will have to carefully, but forcefully remove the top part of the housing to remove it from the key cylinder. Then, if you are replacing the key cylinder, you will need to turn key to the "on" position, and look for the small hole on the top of cylinder. Use a small Allen wrench to press the tab inside the hole, and the key cylinder will slide right out. If you are replacing the electrical ignition switch, there is no need to remove key cylinder. You will need a #4 torx socket to remove the 2 small torx bolts from the black box directly under key cylinder. This is the box that has several large gauge wires going into it. Carefully remove the little pigtail with the brown and green wires running up to key cylinder. Then just follow harness under dash to where it is connected to block and attached with a 7mm nut holding the 2 plugs together. After removing nut, and unplugging harness, you will find that there is actually a long slim harness attached to each side of the ignition harness. You will have to carefully separate these to be able to attach to new ignition harness. Hope this helps

you can not it is controled by the computer if you are having problems with it idle low or stalling on you at the traffic light with the ac on or idle funny what you can try is cleaning the throttle body to do this get your self a can of brake cleaner and some cotton rags. take the air breather off the throttle body and spray brake cleaner on the rag and find a screw driver or something to help you hold that goldish flap called a butterfly open and wipe the black residue off and you can spray some brake cleaner in there but not a whole bunch and clean it up the best you can and that will help it idle better. don't worry if your truck is harder to start the first time you fire it up after you clean it that is normal. if that dose not fix it do a tune up on it and if you do? do not buy any spark plug other that ac delco that is what gm puts in if you put a diffrent brand in there you are asking for trouble and if you do it your self just tell the person looking up the parts for you that you want what the factory calls for. hope this helps

the problem with your truck is the stepper motor in the back of the gauge. I had the same problem with my avalanche and I found I website where I had my entire cluster for $150

An RV cam gives you good torque and economy while not interfering with the normal functioning of your computer. You'll just have serious problems if you go much more radical than that. You can pick up a little extra performance by going to slightly higher compression pistons and adding an extration (header) exhaust system with a low backpressure mufler and large bore exhaust.

Turn key on and push the gas pedal all the way to the floor 3 times. Then turn key off and then start engine.

If it doesn't have manually locking hubs on the front wheels, It means it's a "constantly" locked front 4x4. You don't have to lock them, they already are.

if there is a body lift on it then you will need to cut your floor board if not then check the linkage on your shifter if that is good then something is wrong with your transfer case

Th above answer is ridiculously wrong. The 5.7 V8 is called a 350 because the engine is 350 cubic inches in size not because it has 350 H.P. I would have to know the year GMC Sierra in order to be able to tell you the H.P. It ranges from 145 H.P. to 370 H.P.
