the type of fluid is SPlll.its a specail fliud that you can get at any car dealership. i own a 2004 hyndai accent. i did the reasearch. dont use anything else it will do damage to the tranny. Kias also take splll Dexron 3 is tha same and will do just fine!!

I had the same problem. Apprently is a sensor that gone wrong I had to take it to the dealers to get it replace. It was free under warranty.

The chassis and panels which hold the radio must first be removed. Then the wiring must be disconnected from the radio.

Quite a few different things could cause this problem to happen. If the fuel lines are not pressurized when the engine is off, then vapor lock is very likely the problem. This is a problem I have with my 2000 Elantra. I have to floor the gas petal to get the engine to start. Having a full tank of gas helps some what but does not get rid of the problem completely.

Another problem could be the mains relay is faulty preventing the fuel pump from operating and usually shows up during hot weather. A bad ignition coil could also be the problem. This problem usually shows up during the hot part of the day and disappears during the evening. Basically the car won't start in the day but will after the sun has set and the air outside has cooled down. The last thing to check is the Air Intake Temperature sensor which I understand is a part of the MAF sensor on the air intake housing where the air filter is. Using an OBDI II reader check the temperature. If it is reading a temperature that is too low on a hot day, then it is causing the engine to be flooded and will need to be replaced.

P1402 DM-TL Circuit Continuity Check (Pump Motor) - short circuited, or disconnected.

There is a motor inside of the DM-TL which ends up getting water inside sometimes and then rusts or short-circuits.

It is located on the rear side of the engine block right under the air intake manifold.

The coil packs are located on the driver side of the engine. Trace the spark plug wires from the spark plugs. There is one per cylinder. Check connection at pack (shoudl be a 4 prong connector) If you have a no spark conditon you will have to use and OBD diagnostic to search for additional problems

The fuse for the brake light on a Hyundai Accent are found in the engine compartment. The fuse is number four in the fuse box, and is rated on 10 amps.

Don't think the VIN will do you any good for the color. Some locations for paint code. The radiator support on the top of it. Drivers side door post in the front door opening. Some have a tag on the support board in the trunk over the spare tire.

5w30 is preferred especially in colder climates. 10w30 can also be used. For older engines the new high milage oils are helpful.

the upstream is located on the exhaust manifold you will see it when you open the hood......the downstream is located on the exhaust pipe under the car just past the engine

There is a product called Remus sports exhausts which i think is a south east Asian product and it is easily available via method automotive in India and through various other dealers in Asia. So far this has been the custom made part ive found so far. Ive had it installed in my car with very good results if added with a performance air filter. If you opt to only have the sports exhaust added then please do watch over fuel consumption.

I just bought a 2005 Hyundai elantra gls and when I hit 135 or so the speed warning ing the far right side or behind the drivers side went off and so this took me about 15 hours until I figured it out I hade to disangauge the electrical plug for 5 minutes from the automatic transmission and then I undid the positive side of the batery enabling the memory from the trans mission to give feed back to the brain and then I pluged into the wire again and the I was able to around 128 but not over 130 or else your beep would come back this was done throught trial and erar vere frustrating, all I am wantting to do now is learn how to empty the tank of gas yopu know siphon the gas tank when I bigger automatic transmission comes in I am putting a Mitsubishi eclipse front wheel trans mission in but I jusy have to move the motor a 1?8 of a inch good buy??

from my past experience its one of two things : 1. someone left the gas cap loose after fueling clear the code and drive after tightening gas cap. 2. you have a defective solenoid or broke hose or item in the evap sys . only two ways to check a smoke machine for evap systems or a vaccum pump for evap sysytems. its possible to have a sticking vent solenoid but that requires a smoke/vaccum tool and a scanner that can activate a solenoid. cheaper to go to the dealer,than spend thousands buying tools. The Hyundai Accent and Elantra often have a problem with the charcoal canister becoming plugged. On the driver side of the car in back by the gas tank there will be the canister and hoses coming out of it. Pinch the hoses with your fingers and listen for a crunching noise. If you hear it disconnect the hose and little charcoal pellets will run out of it. If so then you need a new charcoal canister. They cost around $125 and can be found online or at a Hyundai dealer.
