Your 94 jeep yj wont start it crank but it seem like its not getting any gas what's wrong with it?

Answer

There may be many problems. The first thing id check would be your spark plugs and or spark plug wires. It may be getting fuel but not enough spark. The next thing id check would be your fuel lines, fuel pump, and your fuel filter. The next possible solution is replacing your starter.

Answer

You must know first if it's fuel problem or a spark problem, you can remove the air filter housing from the carb and move the accelerator linkage manually and see if there is a streem of fuel inters the carb or you can hear the sound of the fuel stream, if there is a fuel stream put the air filter housing back to the carb, then remove any spark plug cable and hold it near anything metal in the motor

(distance about 1/4 in) using any well insolated tool and let anyone crank the motor and see if there is any spark, if there is no spark (90%) change the ignition coil located inside the distributor.

There is also a "crank Position Sensor" located on the bell housing ( at about 1 o'clock looking from front of engine) if this goes bad it will shut everything off, spark & fuel - it is very hard to get to - I used 3 10" extensions & a swivel with a 10mm socket - took appox 1 hour to change

What mileage does timing belt on 2.4 jeep need changing?

On Jeep Wranglers with the 2.4 liter, 4 cylinder, it is recommended at 90,000 miles. If you notice it is worn or frayed before the 90,000, change it as soon as possible. If the belt were to break, it can destroy your engine. Hope this helps!

Why Jeep turns over won't start?

There are way too many answers availalbe here to give you just one. You need three things to make your Jeep run. Fuel - make sure it's getting fuel to the pistons Air - air cleaner clean? Spark - spark plugs doing their job. And.....is it all happening in the proper order. Is the timing of the engine OK. Get all these things working as they should and you'll be on the road again.

Will jeep rims fit a ranger?

Some Ford rims have the same bolt pattern and similar offset as some Jeeps.

A specific yes or nor answer would require a specific make, model, and year for both vehicles in question.

Most rim manufactures and retail sellers, and most Jeep and Ford owner forums have lists of rim sizes and bolt patterns that you can use to answer your own question.

What part do you need to replace if the steering on a 1985 Jeep CJ7 is really loose?

well first you need to know that it can be more then one item. so a little inspection is in order. have someone, engine running brake on, move the steering wheel back and forth a2 to 3 inches while you look at the steering linkage. areas that are weak are: drag link end (tie rod end that attaches to the pitman arm on the gear box) if it moves side to side and or pops up and down change it.

the frame. yup the frame can be cracked. look close at the gear box mounting brackets. are they moving around? if yes, remove bolts, clean and reinstall with lock tight.

check the frame rails where they attach to front cross member and the bumper bolts. what your looking for is movement. any is bad. if all that is good there is a "slip joint" on the shaft that connects to the gear box. see if there is any play there. (a trick, if play is present remove clip holding rubber cover in place, pull joint apart and you will notice 2 small "slip bushings" very carefully remove the spring clip and turn the slip bushings (square bushings) 180 degrees and reinstall with clean grease.

and last-- take your jeep to a good alignment shop and have the suspension and steering inspected.
