How do you set the radio pre-sets on a 92 Jeep?
Cut the wire connector off from the stock radio and plug it in to the connector, with the ignition off and using a voltage tester find a wire with 12 volts and that will be your batt. connection. then with the ignition on find a wire that previously had no power that now has 12 volts and that will be your ign connection. Now as for the speakers you can remove the door panels and observe the colors of the wires there and use the same ones at the connection to hook them up, or purchase a manual on your vehicle to get the wiring diagram, you can use a continuity tester to identify which is which, or I have heard that you can use a 9v battery and through trial and error find the correct wires by listening for a buzzing sound in the speaker when you have found the right two for each one. I recommend getting the manual since there are many more things you will need it for in the future.
Is 1994 jeep Cherokee Laredo radiator interchangeable with 2001 jeep grand Cherokee both are v 8?
the Laredo is a Cherokee. it's just a different trim package. there's also the briarwood, sport, wagon, etc. it's all the same. yes, the radiators are the same. so is EVERYTHING ELSE in or on the vehicle. so, you could buy the electric seats from a Laredo and put them in a sport. or you could by the rear hatch with the wiper and put it on a briarwood. as long as you have the wiring and switches you can change the trim on any Cherokee. as far as the drivetrains they are exactly the same...
As long as you are not trying to put a Grand Cherokee radiator in a regular Cherokee.

Was the Willys MB US Army Jeep used in the Vietnam war?
I don't think so. My experience in Viet Nam we only had the M151 series jeep. There was the initial M151 then the M151A1 and eventually the M151A2. I maintained this series of Jeep until the active Army decided to go to the current 991 series HUMMV. I do miss the jeep, even after 20 years of being retired!

How do you service a 4 wheel drive switch on a 94 Jeep?
The switch is on top of the transfer case on the drivers side. When you replace it make sure you put the rubber o ring off the original on the new one.To clear the codes disconnect both negitibe and positive battery cables for a couple of minutes. FYI I put one on mine but the display still says "service four wheel drive switch" seems there is a problem with these couold be the vehicle display it self.
This is usually the VIC:
I have a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Loredo with the annoying "Service 4 Wheel Drive Switch" that goes off every 10 minutes or anytime.
I have search for 3 years to find what has been causing this.
I am glad to say that I have located the problem and I am sure most of you that have this problem have the same issue. It is the VIC that is causing the error. You need to pull the VIC out and take it to a bench and open it up. Inside you have 2 circuit boards; one is folded over with the connector that hooks up to the vehicle on it. This is where the problem is. You need to locate the back solder points of the connector, clean of the conformal coating that is painted on, by scratching it off. Now re-solder all the connector solder joints. After ageing and vibration these joints become intermittent. If your VIC is going off intermittently this is probably your problem.
I re-soldered my VIC, installed back in the car and have not had one error since.
If you are not comfortable soldering, take it to someone who does. You do not want to use a solder gun on this, just a soldering iron.
This will take care of the "Service 4 Wheel Drive Switch" error.
