Can a company ask another company why you were fired?

Broadcasting false info to people whose opinion about you is important and valuable is defamation. Broadcasting factually correct info is NOT.

If the employer writes that it fired you for stealing from the cash drawer after a thorough investigation, all that matters is whether it did so as described, NOT whether you were guilty. There was an investigation and then you were fired? All factual, no defamation.

What are the signs to look out for if a guy is playing you?

Assuming that you are a "younger" lady, (unfortunately and TOO often) many guys tend to accuse you of either lying to them OR not caring about themself. IF you feel uncomfortable in your Heart, this IS a big indication that something is wrong. IF you observe him "carefully", sooner or later he will get caught in his own lies. Have you ever heard this saying......You can fool some of the people all of the time, and you can fool all of the people some of the time....BUT, you CAN'T fool ALL of the people ALL the Time!!!!.. Let your Heart be your True and Honest judge of his Character.... True and Honorabe Character is ALMOST none existent and Very hard to find among Guys/Men in our society today.. I wish you the best and I Really Hate to see you get hurt...Honestly and Most Sincerely..........

Have you ever been terminated or asked to resign from any job?

... is a question you might find on an employment application. The company you're applying for a job at is not interested in our employment history, they want yours. You need to answer this question truthfully for you.

... though the fact that you think you might be able to use someone else's answer instead indicates that you're either too stupid or too dishonest to be a good employee anyway.

Can a spouse sue a company for allowing an affair between a manager and an hourly employee?

No. It days long past, the spurned spouse could sue the paramour for a claim of "alienation of affection" but nearly every state has done away with that cause of action. And there is no law that would allow an employer to be held liable to a spouse for an affair that happened at the office.

DependsThat depends on who you are and what your relationship is to the parties onvolved. If you are the spouse of the employees, I agree with the above answer that no, you have no standing to sue the company. If you are a party to the relationship, and there has been retaliation or discrimination against you, then it may be possible. If you are an employee who can show that the employee in the affair received preferential treatment to your detriment, you may also have a cause of action. You should consult with a lawyer.

No. The company didn't make you marry the person. The company can try to take away your severance because you broke company policy thus breaching your contract by dating and marrying coworker.

Good answers above. The first question after "can I sue for damages" is "Did the folks you want to sue have a known duty to DO X or to PROHIBIT Y? Known means published by an authority."

Find a reg or statute that says "all employers must prevent employee adultery on and off duty" or you have zero lawsuit. If such a law EXISTS, you have the entire burden of proof to show a court that the employer failed to carry out that known duty. The defendant-employer has no burden of proof, and need not even respond. Good luck.

What is irrational decision making?

This is when the objective evidence (studies, data, projections, etc) available points to one option as being the best, but another option is selected instead due to non-objective criteria.

A really good current example of this is the United States' Congress view on restructuring Social Security. The best evidence currently suggests that delaying the eligibility date for people in their 40s to 70 and removing the Social Security income tax cap (currently all earnings over $105,000 are not taxed for SS) would resolve the deficit approaching. Also, the funds used to pay for Social Security need to be hands-off and not available to Congress to fund other projects. However, Congress is doing exactly nothing about Social Security because it is an election year and Congressional members do not want to risk jeopardizing their re-election campaigns by suggesting any changes to Social Security.

Absolutely! You need to find a litigation specialist that knows real estate. Realtors must be held responsible for negligence or misrepresentation based on a fiduciary responsibility to their client, and fair dealing with all others in all actions related to their practice. If you have been wronged, even if it was accidental, you must seek restitution and punish the offender. They have malpractice insurance to help you. Do not throw idle threats; sue now!
