I used white vinegar full strength. I had to go over it twice, but it did cut the grease.

If you're talking about the tap console (my model is a Everhard Glo Tub Console) this is how to remove one:

1) Turn off water to console (both hot and cold).

2) Turn on the hot and cold taps and let them drain.

3) Look for two cover plates on the console.

4) Lift the cover plates off with a screwdriver.

5) Underneath the cover plates you should see a large screw head.

6) Remove the screws and the console should come off.

You may not always be able to identify brownish stains on stored sheets or towels. They may be from mold or mildew, or they may be blood or even feces. It's best to wash the linens to remove the stains before using them.

Asics America suggests cleaning your tigers with an athletic shoe cleaner and soft cloth/brush, or surface clean using cold water and a mild detergent. It is important that you do not use a washing machine or dryer to clean your tigers or else it will ruin your shoes.

For me, I used a toothbrush and mild detergent, constantly resoaping the brush and dabbing the recently brushed areas with a paper towel to soak up the dirty water right away. Repeat as necessary.

Other sites suggested using acetone and I really would NOT want to put that on my skin. I would rather use VaboRub as one person suggested than acetone, but would much rather not put anything on my skin that I would not put inside my body -- hence the cold pressed oil. I appreciate the suggestion given by the person who used VaboRub because that is what made me think to try the sesame oil. I actually even used the more expensive Celtic sea salt but would have been okay using just about any salt. ;)

Scrape it as clean as possible and spray it with WD40 and let it soak. Several applications will be needed depending on how long the adhesive has been there. Additionally, acetone can be used to remove residue after it's scraped.

follow the care label and keep in mind it isn't going to be able to be pressed flat it is meant to give the fabric texture(almost always). if there is no care label dry cleaning would probably be the safest thing to do.

You'll need to drain and refill the car's radiator. I might recommend flushing the radiator as well to remove all traces of soap. Most auto-parts stores carry a flush n' fill radiator kit for under $20, the only other thing you'll need is a bucket to catch the soapy antifreeze coming out and a garden hose to hook up to the radiator. The hose water blasts out all the rust (and soap) from the radiator system. Then you just refill it with 50-50 mix of antifreeze and water. Don't buy the premix; it's a ripoff. Mix it yourself. The main problem is hot water will cause the fibers of wool to shrink. Also strong detergents can damage the fibers, causing them to weaken.

The best way to clean wool garments is always dry cleaning. The second best is hand washing in cold water in a detergent specially formulated for use on wool.

Hot water is the worst possible thing for stains. Hot water will cause the stain to set, making it permanent. If you spill coffee, spaghetti sauce, chocolate, anything like that on your clothes, you need to rinse it immediately with ice water. Then use a pre-treater, like Oxi-Clean or those Tide stain pens.

THEN you put it in the wash. If the ice water and the pre-treater get the stain completely out, then you can use a regular setting. If the stain is still visible at all, then use the cold water setting.

You can remove hot oil stains on a marble bench top by washing it with very hot water and a good quality dish soap. Dry the bench top with a clean, dry towel to prevent smearing.

To prevent pilling, start with well-constructed towels made from quality fibers. When buying new towels, check the labels for 100 percent Egyptian or pima cotton. These types have long fibers; they form strong, even yarns that are less likely to produce lint, which results in pills. Combed cotton is another option. It is made with thread that is combed before being spun to remove the shorter fibers that form pills. Also, inspect the weave to ensure that it is tight and uniform. Yes you can but if its kitchen spoons and spatulas, anything wooden you use for cooking throw away, boilling water usually does the trick and how about using carbonated soda instead of bleach? its safer and i think its food with cleaning stains.

If it has dried, use mineral oil. This will leave a greasy stain in the carpet, so then use a degreaser...but the mineral oil will break up the plastic and get it out of the carpet.

The most likely cause of a washing machine leak is a small hole in the rubber door seal which can be easily replaced.As a temporary measure the seal can be loosened and twisted 180degrees until the top is at the bottom.

Probably a bad tub bearing. Live with it, or get a new machine.

It won't be the bearing because the shaft is outside of the drum, but it could be a leak on one of the pipe joints, or (as happened on mine) on the pump, which does use a shaft running through a bush and seal from the inside to the outside of the pump body.

If you have stripped your furniture and there is still too much stain showing on the surface you should first rough sand the project to remove any un-wanted blemishes and roughness then use household bleach followed by light sanding. Remember at this point the more you sand the more the old stain will be exposed.

This is a good one. and it works. fill your empty washer with hot hot hot water, boil some if you have to, put in one gallon of white vinegar, run a wash. When you look in a washer all you see is the outside of the drum what you don't see is all the scum sticking to the inside of the drum, hot water and white vinegar takes care of this

take out from the top and take the tranny with it it makes it alot easier to reinstall or install a new motor that way it all goes in at one time
