Typically, you take one of the pads that you removed, place it on the piston and use a large clamp to compress it back it. Some vehicle have pistons that screw in.

Most autoparts stores have a free loan a tool program, where you can get a tool specifically designed to push the piston back in. If the piston is ceased and won't move, then you'll likely have to replace the whole caliper. After market parts are cheap and a rebuilt caliper is about $125.

The 1995 has pistons that screw in I rented a tool from Auto Zone that made it a snap.

for the removal, pull of the upper radiator sight shield, make sure that the headlamp switch and the ignition switch are turned off, raise the headlamp assembly retainers by pushing rearward and then pulling up to save time. disconnect the headlamp assembly wiring harness and remove the headlamp assembly, install just do the reverse.

Most likely its a problem with the turn signal/high beam switch. Its a very common problem with that year. It's an expensive part to replace. could also just be the hazard switch..try giving it a vigourus work out.

Remove panel above driver side leg area there is 2 8mm screws in the lower part, pop out top trim left of steering wheel there is 2 more srews and 1 screw on the right side of steering wheel, I used 1/4 inch drive with ext. to get it with out pulling trim piece up on right side. There it is bolted to the dash with a l clip and a 7mm screw. Take your time about a 15 minute job.

your fuel filter is going to located by the right rear strut if im correct, bolted to the side, make sure you put it on the same way you took it off, check the arrows or flow.

On a 1997 Lincoln town car, the fuel filter is on the frame under the

left rear door. you will need a slot screw driver.

remove the two retaining clips from the fuel lines, then unscrew the

canister from the metal frame holding the filter.

install in Reverse order.

those particular wires and plugs are located in the engine compartment under the hood of that Lincoln the spark plugs are located on both sides of the engine block about half way down the wires are connected to the spark plugs and then run all the way to the coil/distributer whatever that particular model has good luck

Most new cars dont come with transmission dipstick, for the newer models you have to fill throught the fill plug. It may seem hard but its not if you have a long tube and funnel.

that module should be located in the trunk up against the back seat, youll find a few of them there.

More importantly, why did it break? Before you install one, spin each pulley and feel for binding or no movement. Also check for serpentine belt tensioner being cocked or loose. Eye up the pullies to make sure something did not come out of alignment. IF you find something please post it. Oh yeah, there should be a diagram on a sticker somewhere in the engine compartment.

I won a 1996 Lincoln Continental and am replacing the belt and water pump, gotta love Ford, guess they didnt think that routing sticker for the belt was necessary. There isn't one anywhere under the hood.

Find the AC compressor. There are two lines going into it - trace the larger of the two back, and you'll eventually run across the low side schrader valve (typically capped with a black plastic cap).

Just get someone to plug in a code reader to tell what is probably malfunctioning. Others have said that Autozone may provide this service for free (and try to sell you the needed parts). I went and bought a code reader that lets me reset the light after fixing the problem. If you reset a light, it will go on again if you did not fix the right thing. Code reader is the trick here. This questin is very broad, and the author simply needs to narrow down the problem by getting the trouble code, and the interpretation of the code.

should be a breaker inside trunk, drivers side. usually a small door in trunk liner

the breaker is actually an inertia switch and is located on the passengerside of the trunk, it is a red button down neer the floor in a little black box.

Your thermostat is on line with your top radiator hose. The big hose coming off the top of your radiator leads to the engine. That is where it's at. Should be 2 bolts and a hose clamp to get the hose out of your way if needed.
