What does code number 27 on a 2003 Mazda B3000 2 wheel drive dual sport mean?
I have an identical vehicle and am not familiar with code 27; all diagnostic codes for this vehicle have a four-digit number and I have been unable to find a code 27 in my service and repair manual. Use an OBDII scanner to obtain the correct diagnostic code number.
What site can you download a service manual for a 1990 Mazda titan truck?
I am not aware of any service manuals that are soley free to download. However I will suggest chiltonsonline.com they sell a manual for around 25.00 not sure on the price it has been awhile.Just to explain it this manual is a pdf and you have to log into the site once you buy it,and it will let you see the entire manual that covers your vehicle with very detailed pictures, info etc.You can print off anything you need and I am not sure if the cost is for a set time like a year or forever.Just check into it unless you just go to most auto stores and order a paper manual for around 25.00 and it's your copy permanent(I suggest buying a paper manual) just due to it can cover areas that a online manual maynot in terms of pictures or specs that were not put on a online version.I have 3 paper manuals and one chiltons online version myself.I do recommend having a haynes and a chiltons due to there are little things that each do cover or illustrate better over the other.
What is wrong with my Mazda b3000 won't shift into gear?
I had the same problem and took it to a mechanic. From what I could tell it was a simple part replacement, a small part. I can not remember the exact name of it however, but i am sure it was a berring. It was a cheap part. The labour cost me $300 dollars though. Be sure to check your clutch fluid- if it is too low or has droped too low then you added more (air in lines) you wont get any gears either.
1986 Mazda truck clutch pedal goes to floor and stays?

What other cars or Mazda model types will an engine from a 1982 Mazda B2200 be compatible?
I think that, only former ford ranger (earlier 80s) could be compatible with that engine. unfortunetly, the old mazdas fall in parts even if the engine still runs good.
The difference between a Mazda b2600 pickup and a Mazda b2600i pickup?

Where is the egr valve in a 1987 Mazda b2200?
It is mounted below the carburetor on the right hand side.It has three 10 mm bolts and one vacumm line and one electrical connector going to it.It is big enough to fit in your hand.It is round in shape and I would recommend removing the air cleaner housing simply to better access it as I do.When doing this remove the 3 bolts holding the air cleaner on the valve cover and the two nuts at the air filter, also remove the plastic tube for fresh air. Then prop up the air cleaner with a flat head screw driver and remove the two vacumm lines and you will be able to better see and access the egr.Use either brake cleaner or carb cleaner to clean it and use a wire brush/sand paper to remove carbon.Note make sure you reinstall the metal gasket exactly back in place as it was.(it should have a groove worn into it just do to age to help)Hope this helps.
How is a cylinder Head removed from a Mazda B2200 2.2 4 cylinder engine?
This is an overhead cam engine which means you must remove the imiong belt in order to remove the cylinder head. That of course means you must be able to get back on correctly. This is not a job for a novice. The basics: Remove the air cleaner, valve cover, timing belt cover, timing belt, Rocker shafts, Cam, Ehast manifold, intake, cylinder head.
What type oil goes in 1986 B2000 5 speed transmission?
I use 75w90 gear oil or 80w90 works fine on the weight.I would stick with standard gear oil and not use synthetic if it has alot of miles more than 100,000.Brand wise valvoline is fine,or coastal sold at advance auto or auto zone do great.Stay away from the valvoline durablend it does not do well with higher mileage transmissions or rear end axles.I change my transmission and rear end oil about yearly due to age of the truck and helps on the cold/hot temperature change. My recommend after 23 years of ownership of mine.
How do you engage fwd on 1998 Mazda b2500?
Well, that would depend on the transmission. Sounds like you got yerself a 2wd mf-er.
Well that depends.Check the ground cable that goes to the fender then down to the subframe then to the block itself. Now If u remove the cable and clean the area with sand paper a wire brush etc and reinstall. If no change I would check your alternator for output.Use a multimeter and see if it is at least 12-12.5 volts with the key in the off position running it should be 13.5-14.0 volts.Or if do not have a meter take it to advance auto or autozone for a FREE charging system check. If this is a original alter, it could be not charging the battery which would explain the slow crank due to a undercharged battery. That is unless the starter is (failing new remanfactured part) this does happen or the battery is charging.I would not rule out the battery cables being a problem I have replaced mine in 09 due to age, wear and it does make a difference and other issues.
1988 Mazda b2200 idles too fast. Idle adjustment screw doesn't help.?
Just to explain the idle question. When you start the truck assuming it is carburated alot of 1988 models are you depress the fuel twice to set the choke when you start the truck it will be set in high idle. You have to push the fuel pedal one time after a few minutes to reduce the idle to normal.I would suggest removing the air cleaner assembly and cleaning the carburetor with carburetor cleaner and then use some liquid wrench on the choke area black in color on the back side of the carb and the metal linkage and cable going to it.I assume you may have the truck running on high idle all the time due to a stuck choke or the linkage sticking(not uncommon on these trucks).I use brake cleaner as well when cleaning the carburetor and USE this ONLY on the outside of the carburetor not spraying into the butterfly area. This cleans up things better and dry clean and dry. Then lube it at the cable then the choke and moving linkage metal and spring.I would suggest buying a haynes or chiltons (chiltons is better for pictures of carb) and shows a good break down of the choke, high idle arm so you know what to clean and lube.

What would cause a lifter noise on a 1992 b2600i Mazda truck?
Ticking lifters in the 86-93 Mazda pickup trucks is very common, the design is just prone to it. Sometimes it is dirt or something clogging one of the small passageways in the rocker arm assembly, sometimes it is low oil pressure, sometimes it is just a bad lifter. Sometimes replacing the lifter will fix the problem other times it won't.
It is often recommended to remove the entire rocker arm assembly clean it well, run a needle or wire through the find passageways, replace any damage hydraulic lash adjusters then reinstall. See the attached link for more details.

Why does your Mazda b2200 not start after you replaced the water pump?
Simple answer for this.If the truck turns over and over and does not fire the most likely cause is the timing is set properly. If you had the camshaft on A lined up with the pointer and the crankshaft lined centered with the pointer in as close to dead center the timing should have been correct. This sohc engine is very easy and forgiving.I would check the timing and make sure with a timing light that on the crankshaft the first notch is AT TOP DEAD CENTER which goes towards the alternator, next the big notch in the middle is TOP DEAD CENTER and the small notch to the right (going towards the pwr steering is BEFORE TOP DEAD CENTER.The mark you want it set on is 6"degrees btdc.Mark this with paint use yellow for atdc and white for the small btdc. When setting the timing you want the timing between the yellow and white.Unless you have a plug wire disconnected or coil wire on the distributor cap is loose I have no idea.
