A miscarriage is usually caused by a medical reason. Not by something you eat unless it is a drug that is consumed.

The amount that babies move during pregnancy varies alot depending on a number of factors. When mom-to-be is moving around (walking, cooking, folding laundry, etc) the baby tends to be lulled/rocked to sleep. However, when being still (sitting, sleeping) the baby 'wakes up'. Another factor from experience is what you ate recently. I recommend keeping a food/activity diary to see if you spot a trend of baby activity. How far along you are in the pregnancy can also impact how active the baby is due to developmental stages of the fetus. If you are concerned, please speak with your dr. After all, your dr can't provide the best care for you and baby if he/she doesn't know all that is going on! Hope this helps............

The fetus is in the uterus and when pregnant there's a mucus plug closing the entrance to the uterus so semen or anything else can not enter when you are pregnant.

I would call your doc for an u/s. I am 8 weeks and on Sunday had the same sort of discharge with pink tissue in it. The next day had an u/s which showed the baby's heart was slowing and they told me I'm a threatened m/c. I'm now three days later bleeding heavily and cramping and my OB says it will happen here soon.

I don't know if it was the tissue that meant anything, but thought you should know so you can get checked to ensure all was OK. I know lots of things can come out during pregnancy and discharge is normal...call your doctor is advisable if you are worried.

This is really something you should ask your doctor and I am disgusted that you were allowed to leave without being told what this meant. I am sorry it looks as though your baby may not be developing properly.

When you have a miscarriage it can be like that. The embryo just dies and wont come out and you have no symptoms. To get it out you will either be given medication to start cramps or they will give you a D&C and scrape the uterus.

Your HCG level is on the low side but it might still be in the acceptable range. in the seventh week I believe it should be triple that. Call your doctor if you are scared. That is what he is paid for.

During early pregnancy, it is fairly common for light bleeding to occur.... When you first become pregnant most women get what is called Implantation Bleeding which happens when the egg is implanting itself into the uterus. This is very light bleeding that will typically be pink or brown discharges, however for some it is like having a light period. Every female is different and report different symptoms and signs. Most women report bleeding around 4, 8, 12, and sometimes even 16 weeks. Even though bleeding during early pregnancy is common it can be very dangerous and any type of bleeding should be reported to your doctor immediately. If you are cramping and you are having blood clots and you know for certain you are pregnant call your doctor and let them know you could be having a miscarriage!

Yes. It is rare but yes you can. I have a friend. and I swear this is tru. I have a friend who had 8 miscarriages and then she had a huge healthy 9lb baby that is very alive with not one helth problem. Dont give up hope.

Yes, and absorbed twin can be a teratoma. I know this because when I was 15 I had a teratoma. The doctor explained to me that I had absorbed my twin while my mother was pregnant with me. If you think you have a teratoma PLEASE see a doctor immediately! My teratome was not noticeable and then i started to see my stomach grow as if I were pregnant. By the time I saw a doctor mine was the size of a basketball. If i had waited maybe a month later it would've grown and taken over my vital organs and my life.
