The 2001 V6 Eclipse with the Sportronic transmission has a spin-on filter (looks like a small oil filter.) If you get under the tranny you will see it. Usually runs between $10 and $18, for a new one.

Depends if you have the big arch or the little one.BIG. I don't know how to uninstall this one but im assuming that there are two screws on the under side of the trunk but close to the edge of the trunk. est. 10-15 mm. take those out then pop your wing off...if it looks right.

little. I only know how to uninstall the little one and what you have to do is open your trunk. There should be two small screws take those out.. pop it of. there should be three to four more screws connecting the plate to the car. do the same to the other side. now for the main spoiler. Under and in the middle of the trunk there is one bolt, i dont specificly remember what size it is but i know it is 10-15 mm. take that bolt out. now on the outside of the main spoiler under the trunk there are two to three bolts. same size as the middle one. take those out and do the same to the other side.then pop you main spoiler off.

The computer. Controls the ground signal going to ur relay u should have no ground on the relay till computer sends the sivnal cheak that if u already did fuses .and relay the ground should. Be a green wire if u don't get ground install an independant fan setup its a setup that turns ur fans automaticallly.I forgot what its called that will kept u in junkin the car

If the turbo is intercooled it may have a blown seal allowing coolant to pass into the intake flow. White smoke is usually an indication of a blown head gasket. Stop driving the car immediately until this is looked into. Serious engine damage will occur if th head gasket is blown. if is not the head gasket you are in for a cracked block or cylinder head $$$$$$ A blown seal in the turbo is a possibility. you could just be running to lean i blew white smoke when i used racing octane gas. also when i used octane booster of fuel injector cleaners. if it is consistent, probably head gasket.

I don't know about 2.4 but my v6 has a cable connecting the ignition key cylinder and shift stick. At some point I just had to replace the cable. There is no way to can repair the cable itself.

Only about 7 or 8psi safely on a stock motor anymore than that your asking for another motor. Experienced this with 12psi was fun lol and I was impressed with how much it held up to.

I Have a 1997 Eclipse GS. There are two small speakers on the front dash near the windsheild. These speakers are 4 inches. The ones in the door are 5 1/4 because I actually took it apart and measured the speakers. The ones in the back or side panel are 6 1/2.
