the plastic shield around the stereo pops off with some force. there are four screws, one in each corner of the stereo/cd player. BEFORE YOU UNSCREW THE SCREWS ON THE STEREO, check if your radio is type 1 or type 2. Type 1 is average sized. Type 2 is much larger. If you have type 2, you have to remove the center console. There are two screws in the side that can be accessed if you are sitting in the back seat and the two front seats are moved all the way up. Pop out the cup holder and ash tray. There are 2 screws under there. The final two are under the plastic around the radio. Remove the shifter knob (it screws off) and pull the console up. Look out for the wires to the cigarette lighter and the light for the ash tray. Once removed, you can pull the console out, unscrew the radio, unplug all the wires from behind it, and it just slides out.

Yes it can. I own a 95 eclipse and have put a 97 front bumper on it. It is slightly lower to the ground but fits great!

There are many reason for that. I would start from cleaning the throttle body, then idle control valve, rubber hoses responsible for vacuum in the system.

there are 2 screws on right under the fan controls. unscrew them. then you can pull of the entire piece that surrounds the CD player/fan control/radio. pull it from the bottom. then pull the piece off that is on top of the clock. pull towards you. there will be 2 screws exposed that will allow you to unscrew the clock. ive got an 02 eclipse but i don't think its any different. hope that helped

There is a rubber o-ring type seal around each spark plug hole in the valve cover. Over time, the rubber hardens and shrinks allowing a leak to develop. You need to replace these seals and the valve cover gasket.

If there is a lot of oil on the spark plug, you should remove all the plugs and crank the engine over for a few seconds with the plugs out to avoid a condition of hydraulic lock. Hydraulic lock can cause a no-start condition and can crack the starter, engine, or transmission. The first time you start the engine after doing this you should get the car to a highway area and drive at highway speed for several minutes to remove oil from the catalyst. Oil may damage the catalyst.

Any boots that have been coated in oil will likely swell and soften allowing the high voltage to leak and result in a misfire. They should be replaced.

An intercooler is useless on a normally aspirated engine. This is because the air charge entering the engin has NOT been heated as a byproduct of being compressed (by a turbo- or super-charger). Since it is not hotter than the ambient air, running it through an intercooler will not cool it. Now, there are some turbo folks who run air-over-water intercoolers, who run the intercooler liquid through ice water to cool it BELOW ambient temperature. It is hard to say if they gain enough power to offset the weight of all that ice. It is easy to say that without a blower, carrying all that extra weight around (ice, intercooler, pump, etc) would be a losing proposition.
