One. Most commercially produced vehicles only have a single catalytic converter, inline in the exhaust system, somewhere between the engine(header) and the muffler.

pull the rubber air inlet hose from the air inlet, get starter fluid, have someone crank the engine, spray a short burst (about 2 secs.) into the airhorn. if the engine starts running with

eather, it should run with gasoline.

this could indicate no fuel pressre (bad fuel pump), clogged fuel filter, or bad gas (primarily water coming thru the system.

to check fuel pump operation: pull the fuel line from the throttle body (rubber line), insert into a "glass" container, turn the key on and off 3-5 times, waiting 10 sconds between cycles, then, check if there is gas in the container. a 2nd person helping you will facilitate the process. if no gas comes in on "keying" cycle, repeat by cranking the engine. while the engine is cranking, the ecm should recognize this and signal the pump to "pump" fuel. if no gas coms thru the line, you can 1) pull the fuel line on the bottom of the fuel filter and repeat the above process to check for fuel flow, either, eliminating the pump-rcognizing a "clogged" filter- or eliminating the filter and recognizing a bad pump.

If not installed properly check engine light will illuminate

The cabin air filter on a 1999 Mitsubishi Legnum is located behind the glove box. The filter can be removed once the glove box is released and taken out.

The price is going to vary depending on where you take it, but the gasket itself is only about $75-$125 including new bolts, which you will need if the car has some miles on it. If you can buy the parts yourself (check on eBay or rockauto.com) but other than that, you should expect to pay no more than a few hundred for labor. I had mine redone recently and I bought all the parts to take to my mechanic. Now my mechanic is a friend of mine, but it only took him about an hour & 1/2 to do. So long as you don't need any work done to the head itself. That will require a trip to a machine shop, and could run $150-$300 for resurfacing or replacement valves and/or lifters/sleaves & springs. With any head work, you should be looking at $250-$300 (if you can fine a resonable mechanic) including parts. With some machine shop costs if the head needs some work, you could be getting into the $500-600 price range. If you head needs a lot of work, you might be better off getting a salvage head off a 4G64 motor (that's the 2.4L I4 in the Galant) and doing a head swap.

Parking Brake Theory doesn't work, I even tried unplugging the fuse that is supposed to control this but that didnt appear to work either? As far as I know you can't. They are on for safety reasons. There is a switch that is conected to a hand brake. When brake is engaged (pulled up)lights should go off.

there is a control module which powers both. A temp way to get over the hump is to hold the driver window up/down button opposite of window position when starting.

Pull out the radio and get the serial and model numbers. Then call your local Mitsubishi dealer they will give you the codes (there are multiple) you have to try several usually. You may need the VIN...

Start at 1 1/2 turns from seat and adjust for best idle

The EGR valve, on your 2005 Mitsubishi, is located beneath the air cleaner. Remove the air cleaner housing. The valve should be visible and labeled.

what engine size? 2.0 soc does not have serpentine belts,has 2 serpentine timng belts. need engine size to help more.

I'm not positive but, i don't think the '95 galant or other yrs. have a "pump relay switch". they do have a pressure regulator and a relief valve.

i would check your local dodge or Mitsubishi dealer and ask them.

All OBDII connectors are located within a foot or so of the steering column at the bottom of the drivers side dash.

Bubbles mean that you have overfilled it with transmission fluid. It churn up the fluid and becomes frothy.

one possibility would be a loose or disconnected vaccume line. trace the line comming from the speed control actuator.

It is the brakes light switch

look under battery
Remove: air filter box
battery plate

The shift censor in this model may need replaced . There also may be a problem with the linkage in the transmission.
