How to determine an aircraft age?
It is usually difficult to tell an aircraft's age by looking at it because, to be in the best flying order, they always look like new. One way to tell age is to look at the type of aircraft it is. I f the type or variant is no longer in production than you have a time fame. However, there is a much more accurate way if your country offers this service. If you know the tail number (it is called a tail number in the U.S) which is ultimately the number on the tail you can log on to the FAA website (again, or your own countries) and enter the number. If you enter the number correctly you will get a large amount of information about the aircraft. Including the day it completed production.

Why does condensation occur on the windward side of a mountain?
Condensation occurs on the windward side of a mountain because the rising air cools by adiabatic expansion, so the air becomes saturated and the water vapor condenses. The lee side is dry because the air that has had its moisture squeezed out in going over the mountain warms by compression, so becomes relatively drier.

It depends on where in the Rockies you are. New Mexico? Colorado? Wyoming? Montana and Idaho? There will also be the standard deviations from the norm based on altitude, solar activity, weather, local anomalies, etc. The deviation will range from about 9o in northern New Mexico (which is the southern end of the range) to about 15o in northern Montana and the Idaho panhandle. Use the link to the NOAA web page where you can get a magnetic declination for any geographic location within the U.S. along with some correction factors. It is even searchable by zip code to make it really easy to approximate things quickly.
Faulting is to gently contoured mountains as folding is to what?
Folding and faulting in mountains occurs because of the movement of lithospheric plates as described in the theory of plate tectonics.
Continent to continent collision compresses the crust and its sedimentary cover rocks, displacing and distorting them upwards (folding) and fracturing them (faulting). Folding and faulting can also occur in oceanic crust-continental crust collisions, in areas above subduction zones.
Why is there less gravity at the top of a mountain?
== == All bodies in space warp space to one degree or another depending on their size and composition....their gravity is directly proportional to the center of their mass ...in other words the closer to its core the stronger the gravity ...conversly the further the weaker (a mountain)
To make a volcano, the following steps are to be followed :
1. The first step is to sculpt your volcano out of the sand. Take special care to hollow out the inside of the volcano so that you can place the plastic cup inside. The easiest way to do this is with a spray bottle of water. Take the time to carve ridges into the volcano for effect.
2. Once you have the volcano sculpted, add the baking soda to the cup, being careful to not disturb the structure. At this point add 3 or 4 drops of red food colouring to create the look of the lava.
3. When you are ready for the volcano to erupt, add in a 1/4 cup of vinegar to the mix. It is an impressive effect!
4. Once the lava is flowing, be sure to create ditches for the lava to travel through. It really adds to the effect.
*You can build a volcano with sand or clay or some kind of mold. Your choices are not limited, so be creative!!!!
Things You'll Need:Will sound travel better on top of the mountain or at the foot of the mountainexplain?
Sound will travel better on top of the mountain because there are fewer obstacles to block or absorb the sound waves, allowing them to travel further and with less distortion. In contrast, at the foot of the mountain, the dense vegetation, buildings, and other obstacles can interfere with the propagation of sound, reducing its clarity and range.

It definetly won't be cheaper to book tix while in Asia. Some of the domestic only carriers are best to buy when "in country" but any major flights won't be any cheaper. My girlfriend and I did a tour last year. Cathay pacific has a stellar package called the all Asia pass. Basically it's all the destinations in Asia you care to book for up to 30 days. We paid 1700$ last year. The only drawback is you have to have all your flights booked before you go, and you can't change anything.
