Heres how i eventually did it ... 1. Using needle nose locking pliers i held the pipe to the muffler so that it wouldnt get knocked back into the muffler. 2. Then using a cold chisel i made a gap between the muffler (the part that houses the pipe) and the pipe. I did this so that the pipe could be cut through without also cutting the muffler. 3. Then using a power saw with a metal cutting blade i cut through the tailpipe. 4. Then I was the able to crimp the edges of the pipe up and pull it out. 5. Have a beer for a job well done !!!
Why does nothing happen when you step on the gas?
You really need to give us a little more information. I'm presuming that the car starts OK, right? When you press on the accelerator, with the car in neutral or park, does the engine rev up? Is your transmission auto or manual? If the engine revs up, does the car not move when you put it in gear and/or let the clutch out? Inquiring minds want to know! FriPilot
First, you need to make sure you stay out of prison.
You start by figuring out if they are legal in your state. Don't trust the word of a friend, or some guy at the gunshop. Read the actual statutes, most states have them online. Look for "silencer" or "suppressor". I only know about Minnesota. They are not legal here.
Once you know you won't go to to state prison for this, you need to make sure you won't go to federal prison. You do this by submitting ATF Form 1, Application to Make and Register a Firearm, to the Bureau of ATF, NFA Branch, along with a check or money order for $200 and getting their approval.
Once this is done, and you have the application with the canceled tax stamp in hand, you can go and make your silencer.
The simplest silencer is a length of pipe with caps and several rubber baffles inside.
What causes black sooty exhaust?

When you get past 55 mph or if you use the heater the check engine light comes on why?
No idea to be honest, but i have a 95 Corsica with a similar problem that will turn the Service engine light on after a while of driving highway speeds, or after reaching highway speeds and slowing down again. After getting the code read i found out it was for the EGR valve sensor. Basically meaning that its positioning fine at normal in town driving but not working as it should at higher speeds.
Again i can't assure you this is a positive solution but i would recommend running your car as you would normally get on the highway and then while the light stays on going to AutoZone (They will run service engine soon checks for free) or a mechanic you trust. hope this helps.
White smoke from the exhaust pipe indicates that the engine is allowing water into the cylinders. The water then boils in the cylinder and exits the engine as steam (white smoke). This could be be from the inlet manifold (especially if the engine is a V), it could be a head gasket (leak between the water jacket & the cylinder). Or worst it could be a cracked cylinder head.
Or, you're burning oil and you need an oil change.
Why is radiator fluid leaking and white smoke coming from the exhaust?
You might have a blown head gasket or your engine block is cracked.
Edit to add; The white smoke is steam. That means that your coolant got into your cylinders. A blown head gasket is the most likely cause, but a cracked engine block or warped aluminum heads are possibilities.
What causes loss of power and white smoke from the tailpipe?
Loss of power and white smoke from the tailpipe typically indicates that coolant is entering the engine's combustion chamber, often due to a blown head gasket, a cracked engine block, or a damaged cylinder head. This coolant vaporizes during combustion, producing white smoke. Additionally, the presence of coolant can lead to reduced engine performance, causing a noticeable loss of power. It's crucial to address these issues promptly to prevent further engine damage.
White smoke from the exhaust is a symptom of coolant entering the combustion chamber. Most often caused by a cracked or warped head or blown head gasket. Stop driving this vehicle until you have this repaired or you will destroy the engine.
sounds liks it could be the starter selinoid ,if you have access to a used auto parts dealer i would recommend getting a used one and try first ,it cost less money and may last a long time . also most electrical parts are none returnable when purchased new .

What cause white smoke from exhaust it turns black acceleration on a 1994 international 7.3 diesel?
White smoke is water vapor (or coolant) in the exhaust, the black smoke is the (normal) over-rich condition at WOT (full acceleration)
White smoke can also be unburned fuel, generally seen on earlier, non-electronic engines that are mistimed.
If you live in a humid climate it just could be condensation in the exhaust or it could be oil sepping into the combustion chamber and being burned on start up. If you have high milage I would get it checked out by a dealer.
What is the reason for white smoke from your cars exhaust?
possible blown head gasket.
I don't get white smoke from my exhaust! is it from yours?
If it is just after you start your car it is normal.
