Writing this with first hand experience,replaced mine about 15k miles ago with a brand new valeo type matrix,now its leaking again!!. After much reserch it seems that firstly your antifreeze mixture should be drained and flushed thoroughly every 2 years/20k miles,if not deposits and rust build up in the engine block that eventually end up in the matrix, as the matrix has ultra thin walls on the tubes its only a matter of time before these deposits settle at the bottom of the u bends and cause corrosion of your nice new matrix,resulting in another leak,more steamy windows and that telltale horrible sweet smell of hot coolant!!

From the information gathered I will be replacing mine again, but only after flushing the whole system thoroughly and BOY DO I MEAN THOROUGHLY!!!with the leaking one still in situe, also fill up with QUALITY antifreeze at the correct proporsions, and change and flush every year,sounds tedious I know, but its definitely not as bad as the living nightmare of takiing that ****ing dashboard out again.BELIEVE ME!!!

If by S16 you mean a Phase1 S16, then it is right above the throttle body, but on the other side of the bracket, right next to the cylinder head, with a plug on top of it. You can trace it from the TB as there is a hose running to it from the upper part of the TB housing.

Turn your headlights on and try start the engine, if they don't dim then the problem is still in the starter motor. If you bought the motor 2nd hand, maybe try exchanging it or check it has been refitted properly. Ive currently got the same problem with my xsi, bu haven't had a chance to fit a new one because of the weather here.

When you replaced the starter did you also replace the starter solenoid? I had the same symptoms on my 306, starter wouldn't turn, battery was OK and headlights worked. Road service was able to start the car by bypassing the starter solenoid. I replaced the solenoid (and the starter because they're sold together) and fixed the problem.

i had to replace my radiator on my 307 all i did was remove the mushroom clips and the bolts from the front grille under the bonnet so u can access the mounting bolts for the radiator then as long as u bend it back carefully u can undo the bolts and lift the rad out after u have disconnected the hoses if u do it correctly it should only take about 10 mins to remove and refit a new one if ur in the UK the cheapest place i found for a replacment radiator was gsf car parts

once fitted refill the coolant system and run till warm with the filller cap off to make sure there are no airlocks in it

Yes the temperature gauge will still work. If it stuck open the car will run cool. If it is stuck closed the car will overheat.

Fill up with diesel and see if the gauge still goes up.

The sender unit is under the back seat, one to the left under 6" black plastic plug is the fuel pump, the one to the right is the sender unit. Prise the plug out of the floor and unscrew the the sender unit from tank. Once out it can be moved manually while the ignition is on and see the gauge moving. The float arm is stiff and am still truying to work out why as 3 others checked were all the same. To get at the dash gauge remove the steering wheel, instrument shroud and instrument panel, not a lot to see as all printed circuits.

I believe you can fit up to 205x40x17's to 306's with no problem except for the speedo being slightly off and the ride will become very hard. If your fitting 16" wheels try for around 195x45x16, but make sure the hub displacement (Distance from edge of wheel to where the hub touches) is correct so that wheel can go inside the arch.

If you remove the Black panel on the left side as though you are going to remove the battery. You will see the spark plug on the left side of the engine.

The reversing light circuit is controlled by a plunger type switch screwed into the top of the transmission casing. First check that the fuse has not blown.

To test disconnect the wiring connector to the switch use a multimeter resistance should be high but when reverse is selected should be low if on buzzer mode the meter should buzz.

If no buzz switch is broken if buzzing look for a wiring connection that is broken because the switch is ok.

You can find the evaporator drain on the bottom of your air-conditioner compressor. The evaporator drain hose will go from the compressor to the bottom of the engine compartment.

it depends where it is leaking from and if you can id the source of the leake Buy some sellotape and wrap it around all parts until the leak stops. Then add a spoiler.

or a sports car for 100,000 the price is all variable. If you want a cheaper method you can always convert one yourself.
