Could be age or damage.

It could be the gasket (a cheap repair if you can do it yourself) or maybe the pan itself is damaged somehow (such as hitting a large hole in the road or driving over something , like a curb).

A leaking gasket on an loder vehicle, especially with a lot of miles is very common.

If you have the owners manual look in there first. In the index it gives the location of the Fuse Box and location of the Relay Box. The flasher should be located in the fuse panel or near there. In the relay box out under the hood [located close to battery] the flasher may be there. It is round about the size of a golf ball and flat on the top. It should say something to the effect of Flasher Unit. Replace the bad one with the same size one.

You don't have to replace them or even take off the plastic lens go to headlightsolution.net you can clean them from the outside they will look great, we had a 1999 caravan with the same problem but not any more. Good luck. Many of the plastic covers on headlights and taillights become damaged by UV light from the Sun. The clouding on the lenses is usually damage. About the only REAl way to solve the problem is to replace the lense. You do NOT have to replace the lens. I use a product called CrystaLenz, it really works and is easy to use. Checking the fuse is definitely a great idea. Is it just the horn or everything on the steering wheel? If it is everything, it has been my experience that when the horn or any of the options on the steering wheel do not work, it is most likely the clockspring.

That is what was wrong with my vehicle. Luckily for my van, the clockspring is a dealership RECALL ITEM. Another indication that it could be the clockspring is the AIRBAG or possibly ABS lights staying on.

The starter on a 1999 Voyager is on the front, radiator, side of the engine. It is just above the edge of the engine oil pan and is bolted to transmission.

that could be something to where its not getting enough fuel or its flooding it ,, are you pressing it to the floor and getting nothing? is it a manual? to many things to consider

water will splash on the belts [power steering, alternator, etc.], causing them to slip, as if greasy, not turning the pulleys. get new belts.

check the vaccum hose that connects the egr valve to the engine,i had the same problem every time i went to stop,slow down or let my foot off the gas it would die quickly.i replaced the egr vacuum hose line and the problem went away,also get a can of throttle body cleaner spry it in open the throttle plate ,wipe it out and spray a few more shots to make sure that it is good and clean,makes a hell of a difference..also check your breather hoses for any air leaks,one goes from side of throtlle body to pass side valve cover and the other goes from dr side valve cover to the pcv valve.a few seconds can bring the vehicle back to its old self again..

The towing capacity changes (increases) when "sway bars" are used with the trailer. I have seen where the towing capacity is 1,000 pounds without the bars, but 3,500 pounds with the bars. The bars distribute the weight of the trailer which makes braking better.

Also, the towing capacity is reduced if the trailer does not have its own set of brakes. Without trailer brakes, the vehicle can pull a heavy trailer (get it moving), but, may not be able to stop well. The vehicle brakes will over heat quickly and quickly fade when braking at hiway speeds if all of the braking is done by the van and none by the trailer.

A Plymouth Grand Caravan weighs about 4000 pounds empty. If you pull a trailer that weighs 3,500 pounds (almost 2 tons) you are almost doubling (7,500 pounds) the mass that the van has to stop thus severely taxing the braking ability of the van. In short, if you are going to tow a 3,500 pound trailer (total weight) you must have brakes on the trailer, electric brakes or surge brakes or otherwise.

Heat kills automatic transmissions. If the van is an automatic have a transmission cooler installed. Heat will cook the transmission, and a lot more heat is generated when it is pulling an extra 3,500 pounds. Add a hot summer to that and you stand a good chance of cooking your transmission if you don't have a cooler installed. If you are in a very cold winter type climate, you will have to remember to disconnect the cooler during cold weather. If you don't disconnect\by-pass the cooler, the transmission will never properly warm up to operating temperatures during cold winter days. To make it easy to by-pass the installed cooler, you can have some manually operated valves installed so in the fall all you have to do is turn one or two valves to by-pass the installed cooler.

My 97 Voyager has done the same thing. It was control panel programing, the following instructions is how to program your control panel: 1) SET BLOWER ON HIGH 2) SET MODE TO PANEL 3) SET TEMP TO COLD 4) PRESS WASH AND REAR WIPER TOGATHER AND HOLD FOR 5 SEC. IT WILL GO THROUGH A SERIES OF FLASHING, WHEN DONE THE REAR WIPER SHOULD BE THE ONLY ONE FLASHING PRESS REAR WIPER TO EXIT. DO THIS WITH VAN RUNNING. This worked for my 1997 Voyager. I hope it works for yours.

I followed instructions and it worked( 98 VOYAGER ) BUT I MIGHT ADD THIS; you must wait 30-60 seconds for all the lights except the rear wiper light to go out before you hit the rear wiper button.

The Turn Signal Switch is bad in the column and needs to be replaced.

Hey John==On the intake close to the EGR there is a solonoid that has wires and vac lines going to it. Make sure the wires are connected and not shorted. GoodluckJoe

Most engines take 4 qts, 4.5 qt with filter.

Remove wheels

Re-install 2 lug nuts to hold rotor in place

Remove caliper mounting bolts

Slide caliper off rotor

Use a "C" clamp to fully retract piston into caliper body

Replace inner and outer pads

Re-install caliper

PUMP BRAKE PEDAL TO SET PADS AGAINST ROTOR PRIOR TO MOVING VEHICLE

Remove wheel, remove cotter pin at bottom of tie rod, remove castle nut. Separate tie rod from spindle. Unscrew tie rod, Screw in new one, seat in spindle, install castle nut, install cotter pin, install wheel, go get a beer.

Mounted inside and on top of the fuel tank.
