Why won't a car's engine rev over 2800 RPM?
In assumption that this question is referring to an automatic transmission a car's engine will not rev over 2800 rpm because when the car automatically shifts as the speed increases that is the usual rpm that the car shifts at. If the car's rpm is getting over 3000 rpm and still not shifting then your transmission is going out and needs to be checked. The autmoatic transmission is what shifts the gears for you. In a manual (shift, clutch) the person needs to shift around 2500 to 3000 rpm. The only reason someone would let the engine rev higher than that for a long period of time while driving manually would be on purpose to burn carbon build up on the pistons.

How do you replace a power window motor in a 2002 Pontiac transam?
I'm about to do just that, providing it's not some sort of limit switch, b/c, the window (dr. side) has a lot more play in it, pivots 2" to 3". My window will go up 2" and stop, if I wait 10 min. it will go up another 2"-3"etc.. So it may be overheating b/c of whatever. But regardless I'll let everyone know what and how I did.

Why does The car idle goes up an down?
Could be a number of things. Does it jump when you are driving it and parked? It could be an idle air control valve or even a throttle position sensor, it could be misfiring also. My t/a did the same and it turned out to be the idle air control valve.
Does a 1989 Crown Victoria LTD LX have positive traction or a rear differential?
yes it has a rear differential,it"s rear wheel drive! If it was an old cop car then yes it has a posi-trac rear end with 350 gears. If it is a standard crown vic with a 302 engine then it does not have a posi.If it has a 351 winsor engine it is an old cop car. The easy way to make it a posi is to buy a rear from an old cop car at the junk yard and install it in your car!!
I believe the Trailer Towing package also provided a limited slip differential. Are you certain about the gear ratio's being 350, not 373?
Please note that in 1989, Ford Crown Vic cop cars were also equiped with the 5.0 litre 302 H.O. motor. The only REAL way to tell a 1989 standard model from a police model is by checking the VIN number thru the windshield. If the number contains "P72" then it is a police model, if it contains "P74" then it is a standard model. The easiest way to tell if your ride has Posi or not is to check the rear differential cover for a limited slip tag. Good luck.
Well in my experience i hooked up with this cute guy(i was crushing on him) after the deed was done; class the next day way weird. Like he talked wouldn't even talk or say anything about it. Now he's an ass and i got used. BIG TIME
But it should all depend on the relationship you had with this guy/girl.
If I were you i would learn from this and MOVE ON. :)
GOOD LUCK!

How do you reset the 'security' light on a 1994 Firebird?
Try disconnecting the NEGATIVE battery terminal wire for about 5 minutes, that probably will do it.
Your passlock security is activated. Many things can cause this. 1 or more of three things. The key chip is bad, the ignition cylinder that reads the key is bad, or the TDM (Theft Deterrant Module-computer that reads the info) is bad. All of which can shut down your vehicle. For more info, read the "about me" section on this site. Way too much info to type everytime i come across this. This is my Expertise and ALL i am on here for. I can answer most any question on subject and help guide you in the correct direction.
How much horsepower does a trans am ws6 2002?
Factory rating is 325. People that have run their own dynes on stock engines have seen low 300's at the wheels. While it is way more complicated than making an assumption, for simplicities sake let's say an engine "loses" 15% of its horsepower through transferring power to the wheels. If you say that, then you could imply a rear wheel HP rating of 300 has an engine actually producing 345. Drivetrain power losses are way more complicated than that, but in a simple answer....the engine is rated at 325 but I feel there is enough anecdotal evidence to prove the actual number is higher.

How do you change the spark plugs on your 2003 ford f-150 5.4 liter v-8?
Have fun. You have to pull the fuel rail to get the direct igniton off then you can get at the plugs. Tip from pro: If your CAREFULL you can sneak the coils out with the fuel rail still on. Then you can get the plugs out.
Basically the same as a Firebird but with a spoiler package, rocker panel extensions, ground effects. Also, all Trans Ams have a V8. Some 95's also have the "transmission perform" button for harder shifts and are rated with about 310 hp.
