the smaller the number the larger the hook From 2 through 14, the 14 would be the smallest. The 14 is what a lot of trout flies are tied with.

It is my understanding (owner of 2004 Z71 LS Crew Cab) that you are not able to change out the bulb. Chevrolet appears to have designed this fog light with a built in plastic housing integral to properly aiming the light. I have looked all over the web and found only replacement "full assembly" lights. Some online parts suppliers offer good deals (i.e., $45) much less than the approximatley $95 dealerships are asking. If you are looking at the distributor,there should be a plug w/just a jumper plug in it.Usually towards the passenger side of vehicle.After plug is found and disconnected,hook up timing light set your initial timing,shut vehicle off and disconnect battery.Reinstall plug,hook up battery and restart vehicle and check operation.Hope this info was helpful.

it does but the ecm controls the amount of voltage.

It is manual, there is no trunk button whatsoever on the inside of the car, you need the key to get in. The lock on ours was broken, so we had to drill through the destroyed lock to open it :D

If you are talking about a hole in the oil filter housing, that would be for the oil pressure sending unit.

In the gas tank.

remove and check left rear taillight and chece cerguit boare for continuity on all terminals if negative repair or replace board

you should run premium gas.

Pull tires, wheels, brake drum.

Pull your differential cover, drain oil.

Pull your bolt pinnion shaft.

Pull pinnion shafts

Remove "C" clips from differential.

Axles will then slide out.

Patients & keep up will all of your parts.

What year? and what size is the motor?

It is on the firewall with the word Guide printed on it. Located right behind the master cylinder on Drivers side.

Go to your local library and get a chiltons repair manual for your year.

The date code is back by the distributor, the block casting code is on the "ledge" behind the passenger side bank of cylinders. Most blocks cast after 1970 have the cubic inch size cast on the drivers side of the block, you will need to be under the car to see them, and the are probably covered with years of grime. If the 0718000 is stamped by (usually above) the XH it is the eun# (engine unit sequence number) and is of no value in ID'ing the block.

It should register at about 4 when it is starting to run hot.

The headlamp module on the 87 Firebird (all sub-models are the same) is on the firewall, just to one side of the power brake booster.

It is not quite flat, about 4" by 4", with two electrical connectors, one with 4 wires and one with 5.

This is a (sort-of) sealed unit that could be repaired by an electronic tech. I mention this because it may be hard to find one unless you can get a used one somewhere.

Thermostat stuck partially open or heater core clogged. Drain and flush the entire cooling system. Replace the thermostat. Install a 50/50 mix of fresh antifreeze and distilled water, and bleed air from the system.
