That is a safety measure instituted by some grocery stores to catch stock that missed being pulled.

Even though product gets recalled and pulled from shelves, there is the possibility that somehow product could be put back on the shelf by someone who didn't get the message.

Parts breakage occurred on occassion in the trigger mechanism.

If recall repair/inspection was properly performed... most likely no. Some auto parts stores can check the ABS system for free, and you may need to replace sensor, or dirt may be blocking sensor. After finding what ABS system problem is, replace/fix prob. if you are confident that you know what to do or re-post with more onfo.

I had this prob. with my 2000 jetta VW. But i have a honest guy that works on my car, sepciales in VW's but doesn't work at that crappy VW of America. Anyways point being is CHECK YOUR FUSE BOX. My fuse was broken but not TOO bad so it would be stuck in park at times, but then other times not. Then one day i was out of town and it would NOT let my get out of park, i freaked out called the guy told him and he drove fuses up to me.... myn was a blue 15 fuse, to see if its burn simply take it out (the fuse box is on your driver side door) you can pull each one out or try to translate the "key", when you pull one of the fuses out hold it up to the light the metal should be TUCHING no breaks, if there is a break or a black/gray spot your fuse got burnt out! If its not that... that your just screwed.

I have seen on another message board that the fix caused some trucks to blow a fuse, easy enough to check and replace. However it is more likely that the clock spring in the stearing wheel is bad. Does your horn work? How about the cruise control? If they are on the steering wheel they won't be working either as the clock spring controls them all.

If it has recalls you can take it to a new car dealer for that make and have the recalls completed at no charge.

Yes, Received letter, went to dealership and they took care of it. they charged Toyota almost $600 !!!

Make an appointment at your local VW dealer to have it fixed for free. Soon, too, if you have an automatic transmission. If the switch fails, it can trip up the tranny and not allow you to shift out of Park. That'll require a tow to a shop/dealer.

Don't know...but there are problems with the ignition lock tumblers wearing. Quick fix for a stuck key is to tap the lock while trying to turn the key. This will allow tumblers to fall into place so the key will turn. This fix will get you home, but not fix the problem. To fix permanently, disconnect power to car, remove dash trim below the steering wheel and remove enough screws to lift upper dash around steering wheel to expose key lock. Turn key to on position and depress tab in lock cylinder collar and pull lock cylinder and key out of car. Take lock cylinder to locksmith for new tumblers ( it cost me $12). Replace lock cylinder and put dash back together.

You need to call your local dealer with the vin number and they will tell you. Recalls can be very vin specific.

Yes it replaces the old cam sensor (black with gold bracket) with new cam sensor (gray with silver bracket), it does not have any thing to do with any cam angle.

There are currently no recalls for the 99 Chevy Tahoe.
