Which Atmospheric layer reflects radio wave?
It is the ionosphere, a general region that includes all of the thermosphere and parts of the two bordering layers. In this region, between 60 and 1000 kilometers above the Earth, ionized particles refract and reflect radio waves back toward the ground. This enables radio transmissions that are normally "line of sight" only to reach over the horizon for hundreds or thousands of miles. This includes broadcast radio (HF) and shortwave bands.
what else would it be related to? math? literature? it works by monitoring different frequencies (aka channels) for electronic pulses which fly through the air which create little vibrations in the speakers which we hear as sound
How to change the radio in a 2002 Toyota Tacoma?
You have to remove the front right tire, and go up through the inside of the fender. A lot of work just to remove an antenna! I just did this on my 1999 Montero Sport. Once you remove the back of the fender, you just remove a few nuts from the antenna mount, unplug the power supply, unplug the antenna from the radio and pull the antenna cable out. You can save some time with a short screw driver and don't remove the tire, just the bottom of the fender (and flares). For mounting purposes is best if you use the original part. Before you remove the cable from the inside (if the antenna is not good) cut the cable and use it to pull the new antenna's one. Trust me the hardest part is getting that cable in. Need lots of patience and about 2 hours.. Check out this site for step by step instructions....with pictures....to replace your electric antenna..... http://www.monterosportonline.com/diy-ext6.html

How do you take the radio out of a 1998 Honda civic?
fIRST DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL FROM THE BATTERY. Then make sure that you have the right wiring harness for your car, The radio has it owns.Either you plug the wire harness into the car wiring harness, or you might have to splice the wiring according to the colors that are matching. Red is power, black is ground, blue is remote. Make sure that the wires are not touching cause it will blow the radio fuse(remember undo negative terminal). Now match the wires for the speakers, each wire has a different color so you can't get confused. also make sure that you have a radio kit for the housing.
It should be directly underneath the stock radio.
How did Nikola Tesla invent the radio?
With his newly created Tesla coils, the inventor soon discovered that he could transmit and receive powerful radio signals when they were tuned to resonate at the same frequency. When a coil is tuned to a signal of a particular frequency, it literally magnifies the incoming electrical energy through resonant action. By early 1895, Tesla was ready to transmit a signal 50 miles to West Point, New York.
What is a radio edit on a song?
A radio edit is an edited version of the song that is suitable for playing on a radio show. Long songs may be edited to a shorter length so as to fit in with the shows format, or the lyrics may be edited to remove any words that may be considered offensive to some radio listeners.
Which wave has more energy out of microwaves radio waves infrared waves and visible light waves?
The radio spectrum for communications spans approximately from 150 kHz to 26 MHz.
The visible light frequency range is at least 400 THz.
No contest -- visible light is at least 15 million times higher in frequency.
Energy = Planck's constant * frequency. Hence visible light carries a higher energy.
This is really simple to do on your own. 1. First, press and hold presets two and three for a few seconds. Three digits will come up on the display. These are the first three digits of the factory unlock code. 2. Press the AM/FM button on the unit and another three-digit number will read out. These are the last three digits of your code. 3. Call 1-800-537-5140. You'll be asked for a dealer code, 139010, 206053 and 620529 may work. Enter this number and then press the pound (#) button. 4. Now enter the six-digit code that you got from your stereo, first three digits first, then the last three. You will be given a four-digit response code. Make note. 5. In your car, hit the HR button and put in the first two digits of the response code. Then press the MIN button and put in the last two digits of your response code. Press AM/FM and then SEC should read out on your radio. 6. You should be unlocked! I found this on another site. It worked for me. So Im answering my own question. :)
What date did Nikola Tesla invent the radio?
Nikola Tesla (10 July 1856 - 7 January 1943) was an inventor and a mechanical and electrical engineer. Tesla was born in the village of Smiljan near the town of Gospić, Austrian Empire, (today's Croatia). He was an ethnic Serb subject of the Austrian Empire and later became an American citizen.[2] Tesla is often described as an important scientist and inventor of the modern age, a man who "shed light over the face of Earth".[3] He is best known for many revolutionary contributions in the field of electricity and magnetism in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Tesla's patents and theoretical work formed the basis of modern alternating current electric power (AC) systems, including the polyphase power distribution systems and the AC motor, with which he helped usher in the Second Industrial Revolution.
After his demonstration of wireless communication (radio) in 1894 and after being the victor in the "War of Currents", he was widely respected as one of the greatest electrical engineers who worked in America.[4] Much of his early work pioneered modern electrical engineering and many of his discoveries were of groundbreaking importance. During this period, in the United States, Tesla's fame rivaled that of any other inventor or scientist in history or popular culture,[5] but due to his eccentric personality and his seemingly unbelievable and sometimes bizarre claims about possible scientific and technological developments, Tesla was ultimately ostracized and regarded as a mad scientist.[6][7] Never having put much focus on his finances, Tesla died impoverished at the age of 86.
The SI unit measuring magnetic flux density or magnetic induction (co
Tesla demonstrated "the transmission of electrical energy without wires" as early as 1891. When Tesla was 41 years old, he filed the first basic radio patent (No. US645576). The year was 1897.
In 1892 Tesla created his radio. Marconi got a patent using some Tesla's patents but it was revoked and given to Nikola Tesla as the inventor. Anyways, Marconi's radio had a very short range and the Tesla radio was a long range one.
As early as 1892, Nikola Tesla created a basic design for radio. This was before Marconi. As a mystery, his lab caught fire and Marconi was the first to be awarded the patent. Authorities realized that Marconi used Tesla's patent to make his radio and the patent was granted back to Tesla in 1943.
What did people call a radio in the olden days?
People listened to live music, for example square dancing, juke joints, ballroom dancing.
The FM radio was invented in 1933. It was invented by the inventor Edwin Howard Armstrong. He invented the frequency that allows radios to work.

There are many causes of radio interference:
Song that has been played the most on radio?
In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida by Iron Butterfly was just over 17 minutes long but was mostly cut down for radio play. There could be longer ones, but that was played often (kind of a hit in the late 1960s/early 1970s).
The frequency and wavelength of electromagnetic waves?
The wavelength of an electromagnetic wave is its frequency divided into the speed of light which, for general purposes, is usually reckoned to be 3.0 x 10^8 meters per second.
For example, at 100 megahertz, the wavelength equals 3 meters because:
300,000,000 / 100,000,000 = 3
Where is the radio fuse for a 2002 dodge ram 1500?
Open your owner's manual and read. There you will find the answer. Don't have an owner's manual, get one. You can order one from the dealer, or check at a salvage yard, where you may find one laying in the glove box of a wreck. To be more specific and give you a right answer instead of the RUNAROUND you got above, IT'S a 10amp. Hope this helps.
When were the first cars mass produced?
Vehicles based on electric power sources have existed since the late nineteenth century during which there were more electric vehicles, including trolleys and trains, than there were gasoline-powered cars. The application of electricity as a power source for trains occurred about 1885 and progressed so successfully as a mass transit that by 1900 there was hope that all systems of city and suburban traffic would become electric. As with the steam railroads before them, the electric railways came to be seen as the future of transportation.

Difference between satellite radio and regular radio?
One of the main differences between satellite radio and FM radio is that there is a cost for satellite and FM is free. Satellite radio also does not operate using the same numerical AM and FM channels as FM radio.
