on a mk1 clio just unscrew the screws in the front of the lamp and pull it out, twist the plug at the back and it should all just come appart

Tape over the splines on the inner end of the driveshaft, then carefully slide the outer gaiter onto the shaft. pack the joints with the grease supplied in the repair kit. Ease the gaiter over the joint and ensure that the gaiter lips are correctly located in the grooves of the driveshaft and on the joint. With the coupling aligned with driveshaft, lift the lip of the gaiter to equalise air pressure. Fit the large metal retianing clip to the gaiter, remove any slack in the gaiter retaining clip by carefully compressing the raised section of the clip. check that the constant velocity joint moves freely in all directions before proceeding any further To refit the vibration damper when applicable lubricate the driveshaft with a solution of soapy water press or drive the vibration damper along the shaft using a tubular spacer which bears only on the damper inner bush until aligned with the mark made prior to removal. Refit the inner constant velocity joint then refit the driveshaft to the vehicle hope my info helps cheers Gary Australia

Go to where it says needs service on the the display and hold down the menu button for a minute.......it should clear

The key is faulty or the immobilizer will not accept the code. remove the battery for 30 mins to allow the system to reset.

Scenics suffered from leaking sunroof which damaged the reicever for the C/L and immob in the interior mirror. Chech to make sure its not full of water. Apart from that you are stuck with a very poor quality immobilizer from Renault. If its any conselation,there are loads of Renault drivers in same position. Hope this helps.

prise with a small flat head screwdriver, will just pop out careful not to break plastic holding clips

take off the small front grill on the left hand side and use a 13mm ring spanner to take the nut off replace the horn and the grill all done ten min job

you have to get at them from under the wheelarch,it is easier if you take the wheel off.you will see a round cut out in the liner,pop that out and you can get to the headlamp rear cover as long as you don't have big hands

I had the same noise, but in diesel one, the problem was in rubber between engine and frame where engine bolted down.actually engine wasnot bolted down tight enough, that's way when i pressed accelerator it was noise. engine just shakes against the frame.

you can't, the immoboliser is prt of the injection computor, which you cannont by pass

what year is it? if it starts and dies after few seconds, then your fuel pump relay is gone bad. check for it under the instrument cluster on the driver side, just under there deep in the wall. you will see the relays, its the No 1 on the left down. The best way to test is start the car, when it wants to die , hold the key in the crank position, if it continues running, then you found the problem. Dont worry this will not hurt the starter. let me know if this help.

Check battery connections, i find a lot of corrosion on Renault battery connections. Remove both terminals and prise off the clamps, clean with wire brush and refit. Put your charger on all night then try it. Hope this helps.

Its under the glove compartment on the passengers side on my Clio on ours 1998 open passenger door and its on side panel and under the bonnet on top of the screen wash bottle is a small fuse box
