It will get glossy for sure, they do make a satin clear this will Allow you to compound out light scratches. If you were going to try to rub the scratches out of satin or flat paint that area will get a gloss.

A lot of people, including myself , thought the title was Knights in White Satin, which could refer to female detectives as well as St. Joan types. it does fit in with the lyrics. It is a beautiful and haunting song. The singer is ( fictionaly) going through a love-loss or displacement crisis but it is not terminal llike (White Room). Thus the song is haunting but not necessarily morbid. The lyrics are haunting! Gazing at people, some hand in hand- could refer to events as diverse as a party , a dance, or a funeral parlor! and the song- not the poem that follows it- ends on an upbeat note- whatever you want to be, you will be ( or receive) in the end! and I love you, whoa-hoa, i LOVE YOU, YES I Love you! what a powerful song.
