As with almost ALL modern vehicles, the starter relay/solenoid is attached to and an integral part of the starter MOTOR.

Tire balance is bad Change or rotate tire position and see if change occurs OR If brakes were recently done, the slide pins for the caliper were not greased and the metal shims holding the pads were not cleaned -RC-

Filter is located on top side of engine-- between firewall and intake. Has a raised hex nut on top.

The location of the remote keyless entry module on a 1998 Saturn is in the rear of the passenger compartment. It is underneath the trim at about shoulder height by the right rear seat.

JACK THE CAR UP, REMOVE THE NEGATIVE WIRE CABLE FROM THE BATTERY, REMOVE THE PASSENGER SIDE TIRE AND THE FRONT INNER FENDER (PLASTIC). ONCE THESE ARE REMOVED THERE ARE ONLY 2 BOLTS AND ITS OUT. BUT, IT CAN BE FINANGLED THROUGH THE ENGINE BAY WITHOUT REMOVAL OF EITHER BUT ITS A TIGHT FIT.

I have the same problem with my 95. Was told not to worry about it since Saturns do that. Rent, borrow or buy a code scanner from your local auto parts retailer, then connect it to the diagnostic port on your scanner. The port is located below the dashboard, next to the steering column.

start with the EGR actuator; it's the small, coil looking device that is just above the EGR. As I remember, error codes 23 and 24 are on the same multiplexor with the EGR actuator and replacing a faulty actuator often solves the problem.

Just clearing the code does no good if the computer still detects a problem. If the problem still exists, the computer will set the code immediately, and if the problem is repaired, the computer will clear the code itself.

All of the 4 cylinder Saturn's used a timing chain. All of the V6 Saturn's used a timing belt.

crack in engine block or head, so the coolant leaks through crack into oil. very common problems with engine to get cracks, maybe a design flaw or when you ran without coolant, it may overstress engine!

The answer to this will vary depending on the model of the 2000 Saturn which determines the type of wiper arm attachment. Most have hook end arms but a few have some of the other newer style attachments. All are easy to replace.

Go back and forth between actually looking at your vehicle and looking at the page below in the Sources and Related Links section below which has illustrations of the the different wiper arm attachments. Once you determine arm attachment (most likely hook end), then view video(s).

Lastly, purchasing wipers is a little more tricky now-a-days than in the past. Do not just buy by length - lookup the proper wipers by vehicle make, model and year because that will ensure correct attachment as well as lengths. EGR valve is located on the top of the motor, just to the right of your valve cover, in between the valve cover and the air intake tube. it has a 4-wire connector going to it. Besides the wire harness, the valve is held in by two 10mm bolts

if its clicking then its the horn itself.you can get a horn from auto parts stores.

There is a fuse box on the passenger side insdie the car, on the side of the console. There is also one inside the hood towards the windshield.

Drop the front cover of the oil pan and remove all the belts and the components they drive, water pump, tentioner, harmonic balancer, then take the front of the engine off. You also need to take off the valve cover. The chain has a tentioner you will need to loosen. unless its broken, but you still need to loosen it to put a new chain on. write me at stewblank6669 at yahoo and I have pics of a broken down Saturn engine. Its a single overhead cam engine. Mite take me a day or so to respond.

Bad plug, plug wire, burnt valve, blown head gasket, on that cylinder.

simple take wheel off ....grab 6mm allen key socket.remove caliper[after takiung out 2 allen key bolts] pop out old shoes pop in new ones.put antiseize on bolt threads and bolt bushings ,replace caliper

Saturns use a 14mm hex socket to remove the caliper bolts, both front and rear ( for a rear disk brake option) always use anti seize on threads, but do not use anti seize on the bushings. use Sylglyde or some type of impurity free grease. Anti seize is made up of aluminum shavings, and will actually inhibit the proper movement of the caliper pins against the bushings.

Stop leak is a temporary fix. I don't recommend it. Tighten the clamps on the hoses going into the raditor.

R134a goes into the low pressure port

A ratchet wrench and appropriate size socket work just fine. Remove the spark plug wire before you start the job. You will have to hold the blade with one hand for leverage as you turn the ratchet with the other hand.

Saturn Shop Foreman here. Cooling fan relay, bad temp sensor, open in fan motor, if you jump last two terminals in the diagnostic connector you should hear the relay click, you can put a test light across the fan plug to test the circuit after you have done this, hope this helps

Preferably the time to use the switch is in DRY CONDITIONS with quarter mile straight aways or less and sharp cornering ti provide more stability to help stabilize steering.
