The track mechanism above the door must be properly and frequently lubricated. If the track is not maintained properly, the motor winding can overheat and the track mechanism will wear out.

Once either has occurred, the only thing you can do is replace the mechanism.

Lift up on the handle. You should see plastic inserts that fit into two tiny holes. Remove the inserts and the handle should slide to the side.

To locate the starter, put the vehicle on ramps, jack stands or in some other way raise the vehicle so that you can have adequate AND SAFE access to the underside of the engine compartment. Make certain that the vehicle is raised securely before you endanger your life; remember that if the vehicle falls on you, you will likely be killed or at the very least, seriously injured.

Once you are safely under the engine compartment, find the oil pan (bottom of the engine), then locate the transmission. The starter is attached to the engine at the connection between the engine and the transmission. It's about half way up the engine, just in front of the driver.

There is only one way, the timing chain MUST be right for the engine to operate properly.

If the camshaft was set up wrong, the front of the engine must be disassembled and the timing chain must be set up properly.

The firewall is that part of the vehicle between the engine and passenger compartment. It's simply the metal body panel that separates the two areas.

More than likely the fan works however the ECTS needs to be replaced. This sensor is used by the PCM to turn the fan on and off.

The relay is the same as the a/c relay IIRC. Switch relays to determine if the relay itself is bad. Relays are in the fuse box under the hood

The hypothetical reason why your car is jerking at speeds of over 55 MPH is probally due to the transmission slipping as it engages into a higher gear. If there is a hard shift of the transmission at higher speeds you may have to have the vehicle serviced soon. My car was doing this once and I had a tire out of round and ready to blow. I had the same problem. It was only when I took off at first, then when I was driving on the interstate it did it whenever I went over 55 mph and the cruise wouldn't work. I had to get the camshaft sensor replaced, and afterward I had no more problems.

If all of the gauges stopped working there is probably a blown fuse in the right side of the console in the car or out under the hood in that fuse box. If all of the fuses are good then there is likely a bad gauge cluster or a wiring problem.

The camshaft sensor on a 2000 Saturn is located on the firewall side behind the lower engine assembly. The camshaft sensor is the last one with a connector facing the transmission.

The squeal when you turn on the AC or heater is a loose fan belt. It may be cracked and need replaced, or it may just need tightened.

The relay is attached to the starter and is an integral part.

That depends on the type of failure.

If there is a problem with ignition, you may see a misfire indicator when you perform diagnostics, or there may be elevated hydrocarbons in the exhaust.

If there is a problem with the EGR or injectors, you may see elevated carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons.

If the spark-plugs and wires have never been changed, that's a good place to start.

If you've done that and still no improvement, make certain that the EGR is functioning properly, but the diagnostics should tell you that.

If everything else has checked out, try replacing the injectors. Reconditioned injectors are actually a good decision for older vehicles, since we don't always want to put that much money into them, and the reconditioned injectors typically work just as well as new.

You probably have a electrical short or more likely your batteries are going dead in your alarm key pad thing, on your key ring.

When you let the clutch out all the way, if it continues to slip, it's worn out. A slipping clutch indicates that the clutch wear surface has gone. Plan on replacing the clutch disk, pressure plate, throwout bearing and have the flywheel resurfaced. While it's apart, it wouldn't be a bad idea to replace the clutch master and slave cylinders as well.

If the clutch will not release when you press the pedal, it could be a warped clutch disk or pressure plate or a faulty hydraulic clutch system (master cylinder/slave cylinder).

on my 93 Saturn the pin the connects the arm from the motor to the actual lamp fell out if raise the light up and take off the plasic guard you should be able to see the arm look to see if it is attached.

On some cars you open the hood,and the light socket will be righton the inside behind the fixture itself. A quarter turn counter clockwise and pull will remove the socket.Then push in while turning a quarter turn counter clockwise again will release the bulb, or on newer ones, you just pull them out as they are the spade type.On some cars you will have screws/torx screws holding the lens assembly in, and it would have Tobe removed to replace the bulb.Then still on others, you wouldreach underneath the bumper.

Well the Saturn creator decided to be dumb and put only one radiator cap!! Its Its on the overflow tank (on the passenger side near the back wall of the engine bay). Its the only way to the radiator.

The drain plug is underneath the radiator on the passenger side. Just rotate the petcock (you may have to pull it once rotated) then the fluid drains out. Don't forget to take the cap off of the overflow tank when draining the coolant!

There is a CRANKSHAFT position sensor which will cause starting problems. there is no camshaft sensor but it does sense through the ign module. If you have a P0341 trouble code the most likely cause is bad ignition wires or a bad coil Very rarely do you need the ignition module for this trouble code

okay this depends on what type of machine your polaris is. if its an ATV, there will be a big shift knob on the left side of the gas tank, and that should be pretty easy to figure out how to use. this is true for every polaris ATV except in the case of the 2000 polaris expedition 425, in wich it was a manual transmission, and you had to manually shift using your feet. in the case of snowmobiles, you do not have to shift them. they use a belt drive system that does everything for you
