Very very very popular. I've just come back from the North of Scotland. Where does most of the langoustine , lobster and other shellfish go? Nearly all of it goes to Spain. Ever tried to buy Hake in the UK? Sorry guys the Spaniards have bought it all. Oh yes the Spaniards like their seafood.

Joe Pattie's seafood restaurant is probably the best (it's looks are deceiving), and the shrimp basket, the crap trap, and oyster barn marina are also good. Due to the location of Pensacola and the freshness of seafood in the city, almost all seafood restaurants are going to be good.

I believe what you are asking about would be a soup traditionally made creamy with vegetables and pureed (finely chopped), seafood. That would be called a bisque soup.

It is not correct to refer to the Irish Famine of 1845 - 47 as the great famine as there was no great famine. The only crop to fail during these years as the potatoe, which not only failed in Ireland but also failed throughout Europe around the same time.

The starvation of the Irish was caused because the peasant masses depended on Potatoes as a cheap food source that was relatively easy to grow. However there were many, many sources of food, such as grains, meats, cheese and other dairy products, but these were all exported from Ireland by the ruling British government. So when the potatoe crop failed there was no other food source to turn to for the peasant classes as the British government of the time still insisted that exports continue and actually increased during this time frame.

The famine was a man-made disaster.

Cuttlefish are voracious predators that are thought to be able to work in groups to hunt. They feed on fish, mollusks and arthropods. Phytoplankton is not all that hard to hunt. You just need something to filter it out.

Chowder is a soup containing seafood and veggies that has an h and an o in it.

1. Wash the minnow with clean water, but don't need to clean the guts.

2. Mix 50% cornflour and 50% white flour. This will help the flour to stick with fish better.

3. Deep-dried until turn to gold yellow color.

4. Take the minnow out and sprinkle with salt and pepper (or chili powder if you like spicy food)

Eat the whole minnow with head (Don't worry, they wouldn't bite). It tastes great!

That would depend on how they were made (the prawn flavor would have to be exclusively artificial), but even if they could be considered Kosher it is probably unlikely that a practicing Jew would be interested in eating them anyway.
