How do you take the baffle out of the stock pipe on a fourwheeler?
Some stock pipes have a removeable baffle , others dont . If yours can be removed there should be some bolts or screws at the back of muffler . Remove the screw and the baffle should pull out with a little tugging .
What is the horsepower of the 6.0 liter powerstroke diesel?
325 600 tourque

Improved Answer By: AP_MET
Horsepower is just a broad term denoting 745.7 Watts of power output of any type of mechanical or electrical device.
Foot-Lbs (or Newton-Meters) Torque output at a specific RPM is the true factor in rating a piston engine's performance.
Piston engine horsepower and torque cannot be measured by engine displacement alone.
On piston engines, there are three (3) types of horsepower:
Indicated Horsepower (IHP) = Theoretical horsepower of an entire piston engine at a given RPM.
Brake Horsepower (BHP) = Useful crankshaft horsepower of a piston engine at a given RPM.
Friction Horsepower (FHP) = Horsepower needed to keep a piston engine running at a given RPM.
IHP = BHP + FHP.
Take for instance:
A 2003 Ford Super-Duty F250 Pickup Truck powered by a 6.0 Liter "Powerstroke" 4-Stroke, 8-Cylinder
V-8 Diesel Piston Engine with the following specifications:
Engine: Powerstroke 6.0 Liter (366.14 ci) V-8 / Diesel
Piston Bore Diameter: 3.74 inches (10.99 sq. in.)
Piston Stroke Length: 4.13 inches (0.344 ft.)
Maximum Torque Output: 570 Foot-Lbs @ 2,000 RPM (1,000 pws/min - 4-stroke)
Compression Ratio: 18:1
BMEP - 4-stroke = [(150.8 x 570) / (366.14)] = 234.76 PSI.
BHP = [(234.76 x 0.344 x 10.99 x 1,000 x 8) / (33,000)] = 215.16 BHP.
This particular automotive 4-stroke, 8-cylinder diesel piston engine will develop a crankshaft Brake Horsepower of 215.16 BHP at 2,000 RPM while at its maximum crankshaft Torque output rating of 570 Foot-Lbs.
The higher internal cylinder pressures of diesel piston engines give them a very high torque output at their crankshaft at a much lower RPM and Brake Horsepower compared to gasoline piston engines.

What is the Worlds Fastest 2009 sport ATV?
The 450cc class is the most popular sport ATV class, but not the only sport ATV class. Most racing leagues have more than just a 450cc class, for example the "Open Class". In the Open class, riders of any skill level and any engine size can compete in the same race. If you're asking for the fastest 450cc sport ATV, it will be very hard to come up with an answer because of how close the 450cc sport quads are performace and technology wise, it would basicly be a matter of rider opinion. Though in my opinion the top three fastest 09' 450cc sport quads in stock form are the Yamaha YFZ450R, KTM XC/SX450, and the Can-Am DS450. If you mean the absolute fastest sport ATV regardless of the class, you will need to consider the Yamaha Raptor 700R, The KTM XC525, and the Kawasaki KFX 700. In a magazine article I read last year the KTM 525 beat out all the competition in an overall shoot-out, since it was in a reliable magazine (Dirt Wheels) I would think the fastest 2009 sport quad in stock form is the KTM XC525.

The fastest four wheeler is either the Can-Am 800 Renegade, the Arctic Cat 1000 Thundercat, or the 700 V-Force. Either one of those, im not sure exactly which one, but i know that all of those have speeds of around 145 km/h plus.- the lt500r quadzilla is the fastest quad of all time 100mph stock. and my brother has a kfx400 with a few upgrades and it kills raptors, they are the most over rates quads today. How old do you have to be to ride a snowmobile in Minnesota?
It doesn't matter on your own land or someone else's land with permission. But on trails you have to be 12 to ride alone, but you can't cross roads. When you turn 14 you can cross roads by yourself.
Divide mileage (467.47) by miles per gallon (26) to determine how many gallons are required and multiply by price per gallon (2.89) to determine cost of gasoline for the trip: 467.47 / 26 = 17.97515 gallons x 2.89 = $51.96.
In an electromagnet that turns the drive shaft which does the work?
The driveshaft carries the power but the whole unit does the work.
How much oil goes into a Briggs stratton 5hp go cart motor?
There is no such thing as a Briggs and Stratton Go Kart motor. Yes, you may be using it in a kart, but it wasn't designed for it. So we need Model number to give you a proper answer, though I will give you a clue you can follow. In all the B and S engines I ever worked on, there was a small dipstick that screwed into the oil pan from the top. Most of the ones I remember took about 3 pints of oil and this could be accurately measured by this dipstick.

What is the difference between 1 horsepower and one cc?
Horsepower is a measurement of the capacity to perform work. 1 horsepower is defined as a unit of work equal to 33,000 foot pounds per minute, 550 foot pounds per second, or 746 Watts. A cc is a cubic centimeter and is a measure of volume, one cubic centimeter. A box one centimeter long, one centimeter wide and one centimeter tall. In short, one is volume measurement and the other is power measurement and there is no conversion between the two. If you are referring to engines, usually both are advertised. Larger cc engines have more displacement and usually more power since they have are burning more fuel poer revolution compared to smaller engines, but this is just one charachteristic to be used for comparison.
Are there any laws against snowmobiling across water?
Bodies of water - frozen water - are used for snowmobiling all the time. Snowmobiling across water becomes a legal issue when the body of water is on private property. Entering private property without the owner's permission is "trespassing" and laws are in place that can make it a criminal or a civil offense. While there are some specific exceptions to the laws, if No Trespassing signs are posted around an area to wish to access, honor the sign's warning and do not enter the property. Most public bodies of water are there for public use. Unless a posting specifically prohibits the use of snowmobiles, you have free access.
