Suzuki Sidekick

Iron Man doesn't have a traditional sidekick, like Batman's Robin or Green Arrow's Speedy, but he did ultimately partner with Jim Rhodes who became War Machine then Iron Patriot.

not hard. go to parts store and buy a door panal removal tool, about 8 bucks. the end is fork shaped and is curled. this allows it to go between the clips that hold the panel in place and the curve design allows you to pull out the clips by rotating the panel up and out. go slow and easy and they will " pop" out.. first take a Philips screwdriver and unscrew the door handle, and the cup handle you use to pull door shut. on the corner where the outside mirror is, pop that cover off, you can slide a small screwdriver in behind to do that. then start on the bottom and work your removal tool carefully under the panal, and work your way side to side while pulling out, you will feel the panal pop out, then work your way up both sides. when all that's done, lift the bottom of panal up, it must clear the door lock and window. be carefull if you have power windows and locks because the electrical plugs are attached. also, if you have manual windws you will have to remove that first as well. good luck

Neutral safety switch prevent a manual car from accidentally starting in gear. The safety switch on a Suzuki Sidekick can be found behind the clutch pedal.

you probobly don't want to know... you have to remove the front differential! or you can pull the whole engine...both are equally daunting tasks.

Hold the end of the treaded rod (where it connects to the actual cable) with a pair of vicegrips - this to stop it from turning when tightening the nut. Yes the nut gets tightened to the point that the lever going into the clutch can be moved easily for about 3-4 mm (1/8-5/32") of travel. This 'free play is important - without the freeplay the clutch will wear out in no time at all. Too much free play will cause the clutch not to engage fully and cause the gears to grind etc.

depends on engine. 8v is 80h 16v is 95hp both peak torque at near 4000 rpm.

see motor , that is that big lump in there. see top of motor see foil filler with oil can filler mark on lid, good. no move had to left just a few inches see. long stick with loop on top. that is the dip stick,

Find the access panel in the trunk. Some will have a label thus making it easier to be identified. Open the compartment to find the emergency fuel shut off button.

It is in the glove box.

P0400 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Malfunction. This can be many things. I would start by cleaning the EGR valve throughly and checking all EGR vacuum lines. I found that bad caps in the ECM (computer) will cause the IGN (ignition) fuse to blow.

Located on the driverside kick panel area. About 1.5" cube size. Similar identical relay right next to it.

Remove carefully front grill with thin flat screwdriver to release tabs around it and you will access to the latch and pull cable end mechanism. Open it by pushing down on the hood while releasing the latch mechanism.

Open the air cleaner box lid, remove the old, put in the new, put the lid back.

On my 93 suzuki sidekick the check engine light came on at exactly 120000 miles.It can be reset if you take your drivers side speaker out you'll find a switch in there to reset it.If the problem occurs again then you probably have a real problem.If you vehicle is not running any different then I wouldn't be that concerned.

Open the glove compartment (then empty it), squeeze the sides so it drops all the way down, out of the way. There should be a dark gray plastic box with "REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY" on it, that's the module. On the back side of the module, between the 2 multi-pin plugs, you'll see a hole thru which you should see the blue button, mounted on the circuit board, next to the red LED.

Use a small screwdriver to push and hold the button down until the LED flashes. Hit your LOCK button until it glows red. When it stops glowing, the remote should work. Make sure the black antenna wire is unfurled when you purt the box back in. Squeeze the glove comp doors again to put it back up.

The jack handle goes under the driver's seat two clips the longer end of the jack in the front> The two end pieces point toward the back of the Sidekick.
