I have asked this question to many stereo installation shops, and the answers have been the same. Most shops are reluctant to accept this type of job. The problem is the upper plastic roof panel has small tabs that hold it in place. Over time, these tabs become brittle and break during removal.

First you will need to remove the rear seat.

Next you will need to remove the upper plastic roof panel (above the rear window), being careful not to break the tabs I mentioned earlier.

You should be able to access the top of the plastic side panels the hold the speakers.

If the panels are like the 95 and 96 models, you don't need to remove door panels....carefully pop the grill covers off the door panels...there is a speaker mount behind the grill...remove the 4 speaker screws and your done. Start with the top of the grill and pull gently downward. There are metal clips on the cover and plastic hooks to the side which all hold it in place. Slow and careful is the name of the game here.

I have a 97 T100 4wd. If it is a 2wd the front hub should be just like any other hub-remove the axle nut. The rear shaft and hub has a retainer on the axle on both 2wd and 4wd. On the front of the 4wd there is a cap screw in the end of the drive shaft and the hub is splined on the shaft-unscrew the bold and the hub should come off.

I would just snug them up securely. ( common sense) Torque values are used on engine parts to avoid over tightening.

The thermostat is located in the water pump behind the timing belt plate cover. the thermostat is in the bottom rad hoase where it conects to the motor.

On the right side of the transmission, mounted to the end of the shift rod. The shift rod passes through the transmission from the area where the shift lever is mounted on the left side.

Possibly a bad idle air control valve...if you have a check engine light on, take it to auto zone and they can check it for free. If not, take it to a mechanic

There is a spring in the thermostat, And the spring goes down into the intake.

Air and fuel setting out of adjustment on years gone by; on today's auto's probably a sensor.

The pan only holds 3.5 qts.

The remainder is in the torque converter and radiator, but all that fluid does travel through the whole system. A pump flush must be done to replace all of it.

NO it dose not the type-s has a different head on it then the base type .

Twelve volts are leaving, but how many Amps? If it's not enough, the starter won't engage. Good Luck !!!!

Toyota marketing decided to copy Ford regarding the model designation for its new fullsize truck for the 1993 model year. So if a Ford is a F-150, a Toyota is a T-100.

You could do as the last guy suggested, which would be a good idea...BUT...in the case that you pull all these plugs out at on time, here are a few good ways to know what firing order they go in:

1. You can go off of the length of the wires. The wires only reach so far and non of them should be over stretched or dangling.

2. The cylinder's order is [5] [6] <---back of engine

[3] [4]

[1] [2] <---front of engine

3. Cylinder 1 ignition coil is ALWAYS connected to number 4

Cylinder 3 ignition coil is ALWAYS connected to number 6

Cylinder 5 ignition coil is ALWAYS connected to number 2

This is a funky order set up, but that is how it is on the 3.4L V6 engine of my 96 Toyota T100. Hopefully that helps.

On a 1996 Toyota Tacoma :

The 2.4 and 2.7 litre four cylinder engines have a timing CHAIN

The 3.4 litre V6 engine has a timing BELT

10w30 or 5w30 depending on the year which you did not list. Look in your owner's manual, on the dipstick, on the oil fill cap, or call your Local Toyota dealer.
