Less than 2 Yrs - 4,026.90

Greater than 2 Yrs - 4,661.40

Keep in mind that these are BASIC monthly rates, and do not reflect inclusion of other possible allowances, such as housing, hazardous duty pay, dependents, Sea Pay, etc., which can significantly add a lot more to the monthly total based on the Officer's billet and other factors.

Names of all the us army in Iraq?

There are currently over one hundred thousand US troops in Iraq. Beyond being a security issue, it would be prohibitive to list all service members in Iraq due to the sheer number of them.

Do marines usually take their girlfriends to the marine corps ball?

Simple answer, yes.

I'm a Marine myself and I'd say about 80% of Marines take a date/girlfriend/wife. If your a noncommissioned officer or up it's more expected than someone who recently enlisted.

If you're a young marine just make sure you straighten up those blues. Look good, first impressions are everything.

Are US military personnel permitted emergency leave for their same-sex spouses?

Not currently. However, this benefit was specifically enumerated among those cited in a February 11, 2013 memo from Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta that would become available to same-sex spouses of US military personnel no later than October 1, 2013, or sooner, should the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act ("DOMA") be repealed or struck down.

Where can you buy US Navy Cruise Jackets?

Most areas, such as Norfolk, VA, and San Diego, CA, where large numbers of ships and shore commands are stationed, always have local embroidery shops that specialize in new Cruise Jackets. However, it's important to note that only a Cruise which isn't classified can be denoted on any publicly worn civilian clothing. Though I went on many deployments during my Navy time that others could get jackets for, I cannot because those operations (most anyway) I participated in are still classified.

Most ships' Supply Officers are normally tasked with setting up and arranging for the purchase of Cruise Jackets for any ship that has been on a significant deployment. There's always at least one good artist attached to any afloat command unit, and they're tapped to come up with a design, or if the ship already has a good source, they can utilize custom designs based on established artwork conceived by the source.

For prior service CJs, they can be obtained online from many sources, though you have to search for the one you're looking for. Many Veterans get rid of their uniforms and other military related items once they leave, only to regret it years later. But this affords others who are looking for those items the opportunity to obtain them. Others are obtained through estate auctions and sales as well.

Is a military spouse released from a lease if the husband gets deployed?

No, if you look at any lease with a 'military clause', it only applies to Permanent Change of Station moves (PCS Orders). It does not cover deployments as those as not PCS moves & you will not be let out of the lease.

How do you sing military cadences?

United States Military Cadences are sung in either a marching or running formation of soldiers/cadets. They are sung first by a commander or someone else in the formation that is then repeated by rest of the soldiers in the fomation. Once the commander is finished with one line the others then repeat that same line. The cadence is sung so that there is a lightly upped tone in the voice of Soldiers when the left foot hits the ground. (i.e. HERE we GO again, SAME old STUFF again MARCHING down THE avenue SAME old STUFF and WELL be THROUGH.)

Can a military spouse collect unemployment benefits from Louisiana if family has to relocate to another state?

Good luck trying to squeeze any money out of Louisiana...even if you earned it legitimately, worked the qualifying periods and your employer paid everything for UI benefits. Louisiana will string you along for about 6-8 weeks telling you to keep filing and each week they will send you a letter stating that "there is an unresolved issue" with your claim. They will not tell you the issue, nor will they disclose what they are waiting on to you on the phone - if you can ever reach a live person that is - they have one phone number and I am convinced - one person that answers this phone line, which you will wait about 2 hours on hold if you have the patience, only to be told exactly nothing. After tellling you first 4 weeks, it will change to 6, then to 8 weeks, if you do not hear anything, you will be told to...call them back at that same number! Eventually you will get a letter (after filing every week & hoping you get benefits until you get another job at the new duty station). basically saying too bad, so sad, but that your spouse moving is just not a good enough reason for you to leave your job. It was not the employers fault that you left, it was yours and tada you are disqualified! Don't expect anything from Louisiana...they fight hard and write it 'just so' in their books so as to keep all the money that should be rightfully yours.

Can you join the army if your spouse is undocumented?

You can. When your spouse applies for her dependent ID (which is what would give her access to the post you're stationed at), some very obvious issues are going to result from that. You would need to speak to an immigration attorney to see about getting your spouse's status legalised before you enlist.
