What is chemical made in the stomach that is not enzyme?

One important chemical produced in the stomach that is not an enzyme is hydrochloric acid (HCl). This strong acid creates an acidic environment that helps break down food and activates digestive enzymes, facilitating the digestion process. Additionally, it plays a role in killing harmful bacteria that may be ingested with food. The production of hydrochloric acid is essential for proper digestion and overall gastrointestinal health.

Should wild horses live free in the wild or in captivity near people?

There are many schools of thought regarding the status of the Mustang horse.

One is that it is not a true wild animal but a feral domestic animal that lives

in the wild.

This would also be the case with the Chincoteague ponies.

Technically both groups (ponies and horses) are feral.

There are many feral animals that cause considerable damage to the environment (feral pigs) or to wild populations (feral dogs and cats). The release of

invasive species into the wild (snakes, snakehead fish and cane frogs, etc.)

also causes substantial damage to native species. These animals are not

protected by the law.

Chincoteague ponies are managed by the local human population that have become their caretakers. The community has a vested interest in the successful management of their ponies.

Mustangs are managed by the BLM. The BLM is not invested in the management of the wildlife and only incidentally in the Mustang.

Much of the debate about Mustangs is the perception that horses (specifically wild horses) were how the west was "won" and, while horses played some role in the

expansion of settlers, oxen were the primary mode of transportation. Sadly, these animals are much more difficult to romanticize than the horse.

Examined from any direction, Mustangs managed by the BLM do not have enough natural predators to keep their numbers in check. The BLM deals with this through

culling and sterilization...these methods in no way mimic natural selection of the fittest animals. A population, simply reduced to a nominal number is not neccessarily a healthy, viable population.

There are currently thousands of gelded mustangs living out their lives on privately owned property because there is no market for them. Not only does this cost tax payer money but it is essentially a dead end management system. The only "up"

side is that these geldings have a place to live and die managed by a person who is well paid to feed them until death.

A non-dead end version of this would be to use the same land for an appropriately sized herd(s) of Mustangs that reproduce and live or die in an ecosystem that contains predators. Since many of these management areas are in Montana which contains numerous large predators...this might be a viable option. The "park" could also collect funds, educate and provide tours for visitors to make the caretaking financially viable as well.

Mustangs managed by horse people who are truly interested in the preservation of any of the various mustang strains have the advantage of knowledgeable managers with a vested interest in the success of their managed herds.

So...should they run wild or should they be returned to domestic or semi-domestic life? Yes to both...but only if it preserves and protects both the land, it's indigenous population and the Mustang.

If your body temperature is low how will the enzymes work?

Enzymes require certain temperatures to function. They become denatured if the temperature is too high or too low. If an enzyme is denatured, it can no longer function. Therefore, if your body temperature is too low, the enzymes will become denatured and cease to function. The process of denaturation is on a continuum, however. If the temperature is slightly lower than normal, but not too low, the enzymes will still function, but at a lower rate.

How did most people travel in 1939?

In 1939, most people traveled by train, which was the dominant mode of long-distance transportation due to its speed and efficiency. Automobiles were becoming increasingly popular, particularly in urban areas, but many families still relied on buses for regional travel. Air travel was in its infancy, primarily used by the wealthy or for commercial purposes. Overall, travel was less convenient than today, with longer journey times and fewer options.

What was the first colony to succeed in the union?

The first colony to succeed from the Union was South Carolina, which seceded on December 20, 1860. South Carolina's secession was driven by issues related to states' rights and the institution of slavery.

How do you Drive a 4 Speed Transmission with 2 Speed Rear Axle Flatbed Truck?

Start in 2nd gear in your transmission and low range in the rear axle(switch down), then shift to 3rd, then 4th(using the clutch). When on level ground and need to get truck up to road speed, shift axle into high range(switch up). To go to high axle range, keep accelerator down, pull switch up, then gradually release accelerator and pause until shift is completed, then accelerate as needed. To go to low axle range, when climbing a steep hill and losing speed, keep accelerator down, push switch down, release and quickly depress accelerator. When shifting axle, you don't have to use the clutch.

Will a tx3 motor fit into a 85 kc laser. is the difference. will it be faster of what?

A TX3 motor will not directly fit into an '85 KC Laser without significant modifications, as the mounting points and dimensions may differ. If successfully installed, the TX3 motor could potentially offer improved performance depending on its specifications compared to the original motor. However, factors like weight, drivetrain compatibility, and tuning would also impact overall speed and performance. Always consult with a professional before making significant modifications to ensure safety and compatibility.

What happens to the skin of the sweet pea so that the seeds can be dispersed?

The skin of the sweet pea pod dries and eventually splits open due to the process of dehiscence. Dehiscence is the natural splitting open of a fruit or seed pod to release its contents, in this case, the seeds. Once the pod is dry and mature, the tension in the walls of the pod increases, leading to its eventual rupture and dispersal of the seeds. This mechanism allows the seeds to be scattered and potentially germinate in new locations.

How do you replace the headlight for infinity q45 1994?

Actually its quite easy. First open the hood and remove the plastic shroud cover that covers the headlights, a/c condenser, and radiator. It works the same way for both left and right headlights. Now, start with the corner light/turn signal light. The corner light has to be removed first before you can get to the headlight for removal. You should see a small arm that attaches the corner light to the headlight. Remove the small screw that attaches the small arm. I don't know the proper name, but the corner lights have little round metal ball shaped plugs on the back that insert into holes to hold the light in place. You have to dislodge the corner light from these inserts. Don't worry, its easy to do. Now that you have the screw removed from the small arm, now go to the outside of the vehicle to the corner light. Insert a flat blade screwdriver or something similar behind the corner light and gently pry it straight forward. If you use a screwdriver or other metal instrument you might want to tape it or cushion it in some fashion so you don't chip or mar the paint at the edge of the corner light's location. Now, with the corner light removed, you now have complete access to all of the mounting screws for main headlight. That's all that's to it.

Naturally if you are going to remove the headlights, you need to disconnect the bulbs from the headlight housing.

What is the practice of worshipping many gods?

In modern society, Hinduism, Buddhism, Wicca and Taoism are the best examples of a functioning polytheism. However, many older religions can also be considered polytheistic. The word 'polytheistic' derives from Greek and literally means "many gods". Thus, any religion that reveres many gods instead of one all-powerful god is polytheistic. In general, polytheistic religions are extremely old, by which I mean people mostly only practiced them a long time ago, and most have since died out. We've come to know these dead religions as mythology, yet Ancient Greek, Roman, Egyptian, Norse and Sumerian cultures all took these myths extremely seriously. Eventually, the spread of monotheism (ie:Christianity, Islam, Judaism) gained momentum and converted or persecuted all but a few of the old polytheists.

How are laws made at the federal level and what is the process involved in creating and passing legislation?

Laws at the federal level are made through a process that involves several steps. It begins with an idea for a new law, which is drafted into a bill. The bill is then introduced in either the House of Representatives or the Senate. The bill goes through committee hearings, where it is debated, amended, and voted on. If the bill passes in one chamber, it moves to the other chamber for a similar process. If both chambers pass the bill, it goes to the President to be signed into law or vetoed. If the President signs the bill, it becomes law.

Answer

Urdu, the national language of Pakistan, was created around the 1600's in Central Asia. The word 'Urdu' comes from the Turkish word 'ordu' meaning 'camp' or 'army'. It was used as a unifying communication tool between the Muslim soldiers during their conquest of Ancient India (including Countries east until Myanmar) and Eastern Persia.

These soldiers were of Persian, Arab, or Turkish descent. The majority of the soldiers, however, were of Persian origin. This directly affected the language to be used between them. The language of the government and that which dominated earlier on was Farsi, but eventually changed to Urdu to accommodate the other races. Despite the fact, Urdu vocabulary contains approximately 70% Farsi and the rest being a mix of Arabic and Turkish.

The grammar takes some elements from Farsi and Arabic but also has elements that are unique and different from all three of its mother tongues. In current times, however, many Urdu speakers have adopted many English and Hindi terms following the effects of globalization and the success of Bollywood, the Indian film industry, in Pakistan.

When is it a good time to tell children that Santa is not real?

We tried to keep up the Santa traditions as long as possible! YOu know, boot prints on the hearth, leaving the milk half drunk by Santa, and a bite fo cookie left, leaving unwrapped gifts and candy in the stockings...etc. Then, when the children started talking with other kids, who "knew" Santa wasn't real, we decided to come clean. But in a way that helps to preserve the "original" Saint Nicholas story. We told them that there was a Saint Nicholas...but that he was no longer living, and to preserve his memory and good will toward men (and children) people tried to do as Saint Nicholas would dom bringing gifts to others...and obviously that is why there are Santas at every department store. The magic was there...and the legend remains intact forever.

What is meant by hay?

Hay refers to grass or leguminous plants that have been cut, dried, and stored to be used as animal fodder, particularly for livestock like cattle and horses. It is typically harvested during a period when the plants are nutrient-rich and then cured to prevent spoilage. The drying process helps preserve the nutrients, making hay an important source of feed during times when fresh forage is unavailable. Hay can come in various forms, such as bales or loose stacks, and may include different types of grasses or legumes.
