The human race will not see the sun for 13 and a half years. That would mean all plants will die. It would be like an atomic bomb going off every second for 13 years. Since then of course the science of Health Physics has moved on a long way, and safe working limits for different types of radiation are now well understood. However humans who possess lighter skin color had selection favor that type of skin color, because over the years they migrated to a new habitat; habitat which is colder, and as a result of this selection favored lighter skin color in a relationship to the advantage of humans' survival and fitness in such habitat.
