How democracy leads to underdevelopment?

Democracy leads to underdevelopment in the following ways:-

1) It ensures competition among political parties, and the political parties lose their full confidence of their victory. Due to this, when they get elected, they enjoy the most among themselves by spending more money for their own benefit which ultimately leads to corruption. Thus corruption leads prevents development of a particular country or nation.

2) Many of the country's or nation's resources get wasted in election campaign and practices by political parties to win elections, etc. This is also do not bring development.

3) Also many political parties use some wrong ways to win elections by bringing some non-citizens into the country, or etc. This is just one of them. In this, the non-citizens that had been migrated in the country use the limited resources of the country and thus lead to underdevelopment.

4) Generally, democracy involves lengthy discussions to take any decision (mostly in India). This means decisions requires long times to be implemented and this leads to delays in development.

5) Also, reservation is another reason. This involves the lacking behind of eligible ones and putting forward the backward groups. In this the proper person is not employed, which may further lead to underdevelopment.

What is the democratic view on prayer in schools?

Good question, there is certainly a great deal of misinformation regarding their position. The Democrats are for prayer in school. As is almost everybody else.Certainly prayers abound, especially around the time of those Friday morning math quizzes.
The American Constitution provides for what is often described as a "wall of separation between church and government." This means that the government in the form of public schools cannot organize religious events for their captive audience (the students.)But no individual is prevented from entering into non-disruptive

prayer. Disruptive prayer isn't prayer after all.

Further, school groups and clubs can be prayerful within public facilities as long as they are a recognized school group and individuals speaking at school events (such as graduation) can pray in public (even though for Christians such prayer is discouraged by the Bible.)

Why do gulf countries like the UAE and Saudi Arabia not have democratic governments and who runs the government of these countries?

Answer 1The question is nice but the answer depends on various factors.

1> They are Islamic nations & Islam is purely anti - democratic by nature. If at all Islamic nations become democratic, they remain democracy only by name; example - PAK. The only governance supported by Islam is Tyrannical dictatorship.

2> They hate USA. This is common with nations who believe in Islam. Since, USA had waged war for democracy, they hate democracy as well.

3> Their government is run by Terrorists named as Wahhabis. They sponsor funds for terrorism related purpose example - 9/11 attacks

Answer 2

The primary reason that Arab Gulf countries remain dictatorships is that historically, all countries were dictatorships. Eventually, some countries asserted that the authoritarians had to respect their rights. When armies learned that they might not receive enough food or luxuries for defending the dictator, they would join the people, leaving leadership unable to defend itself and willing to accede to some demands. Over time, these demands led to increasing the people's control over government.

In the Gulf States, the Kings, Emirs, and Sultans do not have to worry about their soldiers turning against them. The money they accrue through the sale of petroleum and petroleum products more than suffices to buy desirable goods on the foreign market. They can also quiet dissent by paying off the citizenry whenever they get "ideas", serving to prevent any change in power structure.

As for Answer 1, Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, and Turkey are all functioning majority-Muslim democracies. Muslims have also led protests for increasing democratization in countries like Iran, Uzbekistan, Jordan, Egypt, and Tunisia. It is perfectly permissible for Muslims who have deep religious sentiments to agree to democracy; the issue is that Islamists (parties intent on using Islamic Law as a basis of governance) often control the conversation in majority-Muslim countries and prevent liberal dissidents from being heard.

Was the House of Burgess a democracy or a republic?

Technically Jamestown and any governing body at Jamestown was sanctioned by the King...a monarch. A monarchy that allows assemblies to be formed is a limited or constitutional monarchy. As such, by definition, Jamestown couldn't be a republic because a republic implies the absence of a monarch...limited or otherwise. Jamestown therefore was a representative democracy.

Who is the secret author of the now famous Globalist Manifesto?

The short is answer is "we still don't know," which has led to numerous conspiracy theories blaming "Marxists" or "the Jews," or "the CIA" or "Communists" or "the Illuminati" or various other groups who allegedly support a "one world government" or an equally scary "new world order." But there is no reliable evidence to show that one particular group or person is responsible, although some reporters believe the document originally emerged from the Philippines. However, this lack of certitude about its origins has not stopped the conspiracy theorists. Here are some comments from our contributors: from Wikipedia: According to a Jewish scholar Avner Falk, in his book entitled "Islamic Terror: Conscious and Unconscious Motives" (2008, pp.46-46), a proactive form of globalization is emerging, spawned by international corporations that wish to loosen trade restrictions. It is the global financial firms that have been the most eager proponents of this expansion. A group of advocates from different parts of the world had been pushing for an integrated global society as envisioned in the Globalist Manifesto which is the foundation of globalism ideology.Globalization is supposed to have shaken up the traditional Muslim world and put it under siege (Ahmed and Donnan 1994; Mohammadi and Saltford 2002; Ahmed 2003). Yet the idealist Globalist Manifesto, created in the Philippines, is a paean to peace and prosperity. It paints an idealized picture of our world. It is wishful thinking at its most glaring. The Dictionary of Public Administration defines Globalist Manifesto in relation to world government. A World government is the concept of a political body that would make, interpret and enforce international law. Inherent to the concept of a world government is that nations would be required to pool or surrender (depending on your point of view) sovereignty over some areas. In effect, a world government would add another level of administration above the existing national governments or provide coordination over areas national governments are not capable of adequately addressing as independent polities. Currently, there has not been a nation to officially put forward plans for a world government, although some people do see international institutions (such as the International Criminal Court, United Nations, and International Monetary Fund) as the beginning elements of a world government system.

An organization comprised of legislators from various nations known as Parliamentarians for Global Action have promoted ideas of democratic global governance, though such promotion has varied in its scope and intensity during the organization's history.Capitalizing on the growing importance of worldwide web in the human civilization, a group of individuals adhering to Globalist Manifesto is actively advocating for the formation of one world government, initially through the internet.

But who is really the author the Globalist Manifesto?

With the relevance of the Globalist Manifesto now being noticed by the mainstream intellectuals worldwide, a lot of researchers are now on the frantic search on who is the author of the manifesto. One discredited but popular theory says that the author may be the global leader of the Zionist movement, because the manifesto helps their cause. There are also insinuations that the author is a member of the British royalty. Some researchers say it is a CIA project hatched by the Republicans, which explains the secrecy of the identity of the author. Other internet theories continue to proliferate, most with no proof to support them.

The Complete and Original Text of the Globalist Manifesto:

THE GLOBALIST MANIFESTO

"Someday, this world will be peaceful, united, educated and prosperous. There will be no war, no poverty, and no discrimination. A world able to protect itself from global warming, over consumption, nuclear disaster, pollution, acid rain, ozone layer depletion, and AIDS. A world that is able to practice sustainable development, protection of environment and responsible parenthood. There is a world future where there will be no national boundaries, no racial discrimination, nor religious fanaticism.

Because every human being is a child of God, everyone is equally important and deserves to enjoy human rights, freedom, happiness and prosperity. The citizens of the world have the duty to act towards this vision, in wherever, whenever, and whatever they can within their status in life. As soon as possible, and through a democratic consensus of all nations via global plebiscite and a drafting of a global constitution through an international constitutional convention, the goal of the citizens of the world is to set up a single and unified global government with police powers, powers to tax, and has the power of eminent domain.

This task is arduous and long, but there is no justification for any armed solution in pursuance of this vision. Diplomacy should be the only way.

The global government will have judicial, executive, and legislative branches; a government-financed two-party system from the global presidency down to village level; with one monetary system, civil service system, electoral system and an economic system grounded on free enterprise. A global president, vice-president, a chamber of hereditary leaders and a chamber of territorial representatives will be popularly elected. The territorial divisions of the world will have governors, vice governors, and territorial representatives who will also be popularly elected. The cabinet heads of the global government and as well as that of the geographical divisions should come from the popularly elected representatives of the territorial divisions.

Ten (10) Stages towards the formation of the Global Government: 1. Information drive and leveling - off using the Globalist Manifesto 2. Formation of the critical mass of global advocates from every corner of the world. 3. Formation of the International Global Government Organizing Committee. 4. International Convention to Draft the Global Constitution. 5. International Plebiscite on the Global Constitution. 6. Formation of the global two - party system. 7. Election of the Global President, Vice-President, Territorial Representatives, and International Council of Hereditary Leaders. 8. Appointment of the Global Cabinet from among the Territorial Representatives. 9. Formation of the Global Seat of Government, Armed Forces and Central Bank. 10.Managing the world towards lasting peace and prosperity.

This manifesto should be advocated worldwide to kings, queens, heads of the states, heads of the government, diplomats, military leaders, educators, scientists, church leaders, business leaders, personalities, thinkers and everyone. Leaders from all over the world would advocate this vision and one of them should become the founding president of the global government with the rest as the founding fathers. YOU COULD BE ONE OF THEM."

(The original manuscript of this manifesto emerged from the classroom of the Master in Development Management, Class of 2003,at the Asian Institute of Management, Makati City, Philippines, on October 18, 2002. The purity of this manifesto should be maintained to avoid misunderstandings as we go on our journey towards the Global Government someday. That government may not happen within your personal lifetime but it will come within the time of the Creator.)

What does the coat of arms have to do with democracy?

Coats of arms have nothing to do with democracy. They are used by democracies and by dictatorships. Their purpose is to identify through symbols a person, institution, or nation.
