How do you set a pioneer radio decks clock back in a 1995 grand prix?
Turn the deck off and hold the function button for 3 seconds and the clock should come up.
How can you fix the Radio onoff button to stay in ie power radio off?
Depends on radio type. Most of these switches are 'momentary contact, which is to say the switch makes contact, then returns to its original state, sending a pulse. If your switch is of this type, the mechanical function sounds fine and the prob. may be a logic circuit and not the switch. The on\off switch on my radio is also combined with the volume knob,(pushing vol. knob turns unit on\off.) I'm afraid these are probably un-fixable. Sorry for being so verbose.
I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM ON 95 LINCOLN AND WAS QUOTED 300 DOLLARS TO REMOVE FIX AND INSTALL. AFTER MANY TRIALS I FINALLY CAME UP WITH AN EXTERNAL FIX FOR 5 DOLLARS. WILL SEND PART AND INSTRUCTIONS UPON RECEIPT OF CHECK OR MONEY ORDER TO RADIO 45328 LORIMER LANCASTER CA. 93534.
Why Microwave SDH Radio can not go beyond STM-1 bandwidth?
Ofcourse BW will play its own role. But, present situation limitation of ADC speed, signal processing chip speed limitation and high data rate modem implementation complexity will play the major role.
In future, if any one invent modulation with magnetic force, it may be possible.
I believe that is part of you security system. Eric j
Why the antenna of radio are vertical?
Not all radio antennas are vertical.
The main reason radio antennas tend to be vertical is convenience of mounting. Many early radio antennas were long horizontal wires strung between two poles or trees. This was also a matter of convenience in mounting such a long antenna (e.g. 50 feet to 100 feet in length).
When you are operating radios in the VHF or UHF band a vertical or horizontal mounting of the short antennas used at these frequencies might be selected to improve reception of a polarized radio signal sent by the transmitter.

What is the reset code for 2004 Toyota Camry CD radio tape player?
You may have to return to the dealer for this code if you don't have it. There is no universal reset code that will work. The dealer will charge for this service. There is a very good reason to save things like this when buying a car. One never knows when it's going to be needed and I have mine for my 2004 VW in my wallet.
Why do mobile phones use microwaves and not radio waves?
Microwaves ARE radio waves, just very high frequency radio waves.
Some newer phones use a higher frequency (800 to 1900 MHz, aka ultra high frequency) to avoid interference from other broadcasting signals and from various types of machinery.
* The term "microwave" refers to wavelengths that correspond to frequencies from about 1 GHz (1000 MHz) to 30 GHz, which has been used for line-of-sight communication relay links. Cellphones do not use the same frequencies. (3 to 30 GHz is designated "super high frequency.")

Speakers don't work in 2004 Impala LS but the radio does are the apeakers on a different circuit?
i have a 05 LS and i did this recently. you need to check your wire harness behing your CD player to make sure that your wires are still intact, then you if then are still connected, you may want to check your fuses or the speakers themself to make sure that they are hooked up right. sometimes the stock adapter may slide off of the speaker. if you need to see how to take the dash off, i have answered that for a few people, all you need to do is look it up.
Why when is XM radio going out of business?
Feb 5th, 2009
XM Radio is a great way to listen to music TODAY. However new cars are installing systems that will connect on the internet. These systems use current cell phone land based systems. No need for fancy systems. With a monthly charge for internet you will get internet radio....so why pay???? XM stock has gone to .17 cents....Down from $7.00 on November 2005...it is like howard who???Opra who???? If you pay the help too much money you won't make a profit. Who knew?
Today is a brillant move XM blaw blaw decided since the unenployment numbers are high and people are afraid of loosing everything...lets raise the monthly cost for a product that people can get for free in the car...Remember FM and AM radio? How about a mp3 player or a CD????
I just don't know about how the American companies just don't get it!
The problem is you need to help your loyal customers and get them to assist your growth.
Also if you ever want to use their service call before you buy. It takes about 20 minutes before anyone will pick up...however while you listen all of a sudden you will think someone picked up but....it is Horard or someone telling youit is worth the wait...well it is not!
Why and when will XM go out of business I think 2012.
Think internet car radio...H D Radio and cheeper.
If XM is to stay in business it needs to :
1. cut the high paying hosts
2. you know when movies started the talent was paid less but they got exposure a good lesson to learn
3. reward current customers and not raise the rates
Just remember if you buy the lifetime probuct it may be the lifetime of XM and not the RADIO!!!!
CC: to XM in Washington dc (that's where the smart people that take our money and spend it how they want)
I'm already there....
It goes,
"I'm already there, take a look around. I'm the sunshine in your hair, I'm the shadow on the ground. I'm the whisper in the wind, I'm your imaginary friend...."
My best guess is that you have some major electrical problems with your car that could cause a fire even when you are not using the vehicle. Best to get it to a certified automotive electrical technician to have it serviced.
This is exactly the problem my car is having. It started with the radio cutting out when I went in reverse. A few days later it cut out from braking and turning corners too. a few days more, it went out all together. At about that same time my power steering became erratic, my fasten seat belt light started flickering, My wipers stopped working, and my power windows too - but all eradicly, sometimes they work, but not for very long. I can get the windows to work after I turn the car off though.(you know, how if you don't open your door yet, you can still roll the windows up even after you pull the key out of the ignition) Anyway, I thought these questions seemed helpful (address pasted below), and I am planning on looking into the Transmission Range Sensor. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_the_power_steering_gets_stiff_and_the_power_windows_and_stereo_will_not_work_when_my_1997_Taurus_is_in_gear http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_would_a_%2796_Taurus_lose_power_steering_and_radio
If this was my truck, I would look at replacing the headlamp switch if you have checked the fuse and have checked the power going INTO the fuse for that circuit. Good luck.
I had the same problem ,I checked the fuses and couldn't find the blown fuse. There are 2 different fuses. I can't remember the other one so look really close for all the fuses. I think it might have been the same one for the wipers but look real hard and you may find another one blown..
Im also searching for this song since long but couldn't find it yet...
