You don't say what model year , but 1997 to 2001 Mercury Mountaineer's have

the tire jack in the cargo area , behind a removable plastic panel , on the

drivers side , near the liftgate

to take wax out of leather or anything else,u will need some brown paper shopping bags and a clothes iron.cut the bags to get single layer of paper.lay the papr over the wax.with iron heated, apply iron to brown paper.move a little over paper to distribute heat. the iron will heat the paper, melt the wax, and the paper will suck up the wax. you may have to do this more than once. just becareful so as not to burn the leather

there are screws at the base of rod right next to the doors. remove them and your in business.

door panel just undo all the screws on the panel but you have to pop out the ashtray/blanking panel and also the handel/pocket in the panel to access a hidden screw if its the front door you will have to remove the escuchion panel or you will damage the door panel you also have to unclip the door pul handle from the bar behind the panel hope this helps!!! I just did it for the front left (driver) door of my Opel Zafira 2004 2.2 DTI Elegance:

- Unscrew three Phillips screws at the bottom of the door - Unscrew one Torx screw (or possibly Philips) at the bottom of the handle (the part you use to close the door) - Open the window all the way down

- Lift out the control knobs for electrical windows. Use screwdriver as a lever from the top side of the knob assembly

- Disconnect the knobs from the wires

- Push out (upwards) the part of the handle that had a screw in it. This part has a plastic clip that can be accessed through a hole where window control knobs were.

- Unscrew two more Phillips screws that were revealed after removing the handle

- remove the knob assembly for controlling electrical mirrors (similar way to the window control knobs) and remove the Philips screw behind it - Lift out the tweeter speaker. Use screwdriver as a lever and disconnect the speaker.

- Remove Philips screw behind the tweeter. - starting from bottom of the panel pull it off the door by releasing plastic plugs. Do it carefully not to break the plugs. There should be 3 per side. There are no plugs at the upper side of the panel (where the window is) so stop pulling when you have freed both sides - Push the panel upwards. This should result in the rubber part that is attached to the panel coming off from the metal edge of the door (You may need to get a blunt screwdriver and prise off the rubber from the door)

To refit the panel, check if all plastic plugs were removed from the door. It happens that some are left in the door instead of the panel. If so, remove them from the door and refit them in the panel before refitting the panel.

IT USUALLY STEMS FROM EITHER HOLDING YOUR GUN TO CLOSE TO THE SURFACE OR TO SLOW A RATE OF TRAVEL, BOTH CAUSE AN OVER APPLICATION OF MATERIAL. YOU SHOULD ALSO CHECK YOUR AIR PRESSURE TO MAKE SURE IT IS AT THE CORRECT SETTING FOR THE TYPE OF GUN AND MATERIAL BEING SPRAYED. IF THE PRESSURE IS TOO LOW IT WILL RESULT IN POOR ATOMISATION WICH WILL ALSO RESULT IN AN ORANGE PEEL CONDITION.

It COULD be a blown fuse. Check the fuse panel. It COULD by a blown flasher unit. If the fuse is OK, change the flasher.

Sounds like a faulty switch or wiring. You may have a limit switch in the lifting/lowering mechanism, a faulty switch on your dash to control it, or a broken wire between the dash switch and the motor.

please tell me , too. I see lots of focus' missing their fuel doors and Ford will not accept responsibility to recall. I used one finger to open mine and it snapped off. That was a few months after I bought it . the dealer would not cover it and Ford Customer Service said no one else called with that complaint. There are four bolts that hold the seat to the frame of the car. Put seat all the way forward and take out the 2 back bolts - then move seat back to take out the front bolts and the seat should come right out. If it is a power seat you have to disconnect the electrical wires first - obviously. Had to do this not long ago....good luck!

Spray WD40 on the door seals. It will help under some conditions, perhaps not in the horrible weather like freezing rain.

I have also heard that vasoline helps. You can put it on the key and insert in the keyhole before the freezing weather comes so your car lock won't freeze.

The oil drain plug on an 89 Toyota 4Runner is located on the bottom of the engine. It is positioned on the left side of the oil pan for easy access and draining.

Open the trunk, reach into the wheel well on the drivers side. You will find a cable that leads to the fuel lid. At the end of the cable you will be able to feel two plastic tabs, grab them and rotate 1/4 turn. The cable will now pop out and the door will pop open. good luck

Here in Margate, kent I know a little back street yard that will reweld both sides for £75 and the sills themselves cost around £25 on the net.

As my cars dark blue im only getting them welded on, protected inside and out with zinc primer and painting them myself. Lot cheaper than some garage.
