The Scout Association in the UK has the Beaver Scout section for youth ages 6 to 8.

Scouting and Guiding in Germany is very fragmented with about 150 different associations and federations. None have sections as early as age 5. For Cub Scouts ages 7 to 11 years most of the organizations use Wölflinge (wolfling) or Wölflingsmädchen (wolf girl).

The BSA does not keep that statistic so I doubt anyone will be able to give you a definitive answer. Minorities are underrepresented in scouting (an issue that scouting is actively seeking to change) with about 11% of scouts estimated to be black or Hispanic, compared to 28% of the US population.

If we make some rather questionable assumptions and assume that half of the 11% are black (nationally 13% of the US population is black and 15% are Hispanic) and that black scouts are as likely to become Eagles as anyone else that would come out to about 5% of the about 50,000 Eagles in 2011 being black (about 2500).

The above calculations are already questionable enough. They could not be generalized to the total number as blacks were not admitted to the BSA for much of its early history.

Some cultures I remember feel it is an insult to shake with the left hand because it can be considered giving the finger to someone. Now if there is information out there supporting this I would appreciate it. That is what I remember.

Im pretty sure he had 5 brothers- Sir George Smyth Baden-powell, Henry Warrington Smyth Baden-Powell, Augustus- (who died when he was a young man) , Francis, and Baden Fletcher Smyth Baden-Powell and he had 1 sister called Agnes-who originally started off the Girl Guides.
