I think it is 18436572 usually stamped on intake manifold on the old Buicks.

Never have seen a blown head gasket on one. You most likely need an upper intake manifold. This is a common problem the new replacments are made better and will last longer. Buick parts person for over 20 years.

in the fuel inlet on the carb.

Remove the seat cushion retaining bolts, detach the seat cushion and remove it up and out from the vehicle.

Remove the rear seat back retaining bolts at the bottom of the seat back. Pull up then out to disengage the upper frame from the hangers and remove seat back from the vehicle.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

The blower motor is between the firewall, and the fender cowl located on the far right of the vehicle. This cowl will have to be removed (fender well)in order to gain access to the motor. Just remove the bolts toward the rear as the whole thing doesn't have to come off, but some of the hoses and accessories bolted down to the cowl might have to be removed for more flexibility.

it most likely is an oxygen sensor

This is a problem that plagues all the N-body cars of these years from 1992-1998. You'll just have to stuff towels into the firewall on the passenger's side right where it meets the carpet and change it every two weeks or so. My 1995 Skylark has the same problem and GM never recalled it. The Skylark is a good car but had I known of this, I'd have gotten the Regal instead.

Try a GM dealer's service center or parts department. They have diagrams on their computers.

CVC joint needs replacing. This can be dangerous, have it repaired.

On the 2.3 Quad 4 Skylark engine the power steering pump is at the front of the engine block behind the radiator, Usualy where you would see the oil dipstick. The cap should say power steering fluid. Check the dipstick that is on the cap, and fill until the dipstick reads full.

I believe it is on the back of the compressor, There is a small port there on the four cyl cars that accepts the charging hose. Normally the charging equipment will only hook up one way. High pressure port is much larger than the low pressure port. Also you may need a set of ramps or a jack and good jack stands to perform this job.

if the timing plate was taken off then just take off the timing cover and there will be notches on the timing gears so u can time it from there

Its in the gas tank, i replaced mine 2 mths. ago.

you have to adjust the tps by loosing the screws and rotating it till it reads 0.50 volts [you need a scanner to do it]

Everyone should have a manual for their vehicle, and a professional shop manual should be available at your local library for diagnostic procedures etc, just make copies of the right pages, as they are usually REFERENCE only...read up and good luck :)

Reverse light switch failure

52-36-41.5 goes to rear right closest to driver side.3 goes in the rear middle.1 goes to far left on passenger side.now front firing order goes-left to right,2-4-6.

There's a round cover on the bottom of the engine oil pan, you need a special tool to remove it, it's inside that hole.

Check with a GM dealer's service center. There was a recall but I don't know if it affected the 1997 models or not.

On my 92 Buick Skylark my oil filter is right under the alternator in that area right next to the shocks housing, its is pretty clear to see you have a little bit of room to work with but you should be able to get it. Good Luck

You need to drain or suck the fluid out of the reservoir with a syringe before removing it, or you will have a puddle of power steering fluid under your car. Removing the steering pump reservoir is much easier if you remove the valve cover first. Once you do that, you get a bit more room to get your arms in behind the reservoir. There are 2 x 10mm bolts that attach the reservoir to the engine. It is not easy, nor fun, and an air rachet makes it much easier, but you can get them. Don't drop your tools or the screws back in there! Wildman

I believe the more accurate question is who MADE Tonar brand Treadmills. The company, Tonar Treadmill Systems, was based in Temperance Michigan. However I believe thaey have since got out of business. I own a TFS 955 Model, and when I needed to order a part I called the phone number listed on the Owner's Manual (1-800-803-9019). Not only was this not Tonar's Customer Service department, but the voive on the other line was speaking French!

I have the same problem with a water leak coming into the passenger compartment through the firewall. I sealed everything in sight and still get water. I finally started putting a towel under the plastic covering near where the top of the carpet meets the firewall and change it whenever I wash it. As far as I'm concerned it's a design defect but GM won't fix it.

Try looking under the rear seat. There should be a large grommet. Remove that to get to the top of it.
